"Encouraging others to not listen to doctors, spreading misinfo, LLM spam"
I made a forum post about Tylenol like a year ago and debated with a mod about it. Just a few days ago someone who I'm friendly with came in and sparked a friendly debate about it and everything got rehashed. That old mod came back in and decided to permanently ban me because I won the debate. I have never had a single warning.
I'm sure the mod was just having a bad day. He often sounds miserable.
This is ridiculous. I was told I was allowed to post AI as long as I said it was AI which I always did and how on earth is it spam when I'm just posting it in my own lonely little forum post? I didn't tell anyone not to listen to doctors. I just stated that I think they are capable of making mistakes so I personally always do my own research. I didn't tell anyone else what to do. Its not like I was even talking in a populated channel. I was talking in my own forum post stating my own opinion. Banning people because you disagree with them is dangerous stuff. Really immature actually.
I have helped a lot of people here and really contributed to the community so I think its a big mistake on your part. This doesn't make for a healthy community and actually makes for a lot of bad karma for you. Banning or censoring people just BC you disagree with them is pathetic small confidence energy.
If you guys had that much of a problem with my little forum post you should have said something a year ago, deleted it, and warned me. The one guy I debated with I'm sure doesn't have any issues w me and nothing new was said. Jumping straight to permanent ban is nuts. Enjoy the small confidence echo chamber you are creating.
