Hey everyone,

Unfortunately, I relapsed recently after having some solid clean time.

The relapse involved both benzos and opioids. The benzo situation is much more manageable at this point. I’ve tapered myself down and am currently stable at 5-10mg diazepam per day.

The opioid side has been a lot more chaotic.

Over roughly a month, I went from oxycodone (around 240–320mg/day) to some very pure heroin, where I got up to around 200mg/day. I eventually managed to get off that with a Suboxone taper.

For the past two weeks, though, I’ve been using 7-OH. One of my problems is that I’m a bit of a doomsday prepper when it comes to substances—I always buy enough to make sure I won’t run out, which obviously doesn’t help when I’m trying to stop.

My tolerance has escalated incredibly fast, and I’m now taking somewhere around 500–600mg/day. I’m trying to taper, but honestly I’m getting tired of the cycle and am considering just getting back on Suboxone for some stability and to stop the constant obsessing about dosing.

My main questions are:

  • How bad are withdrawals from high-dose 7-OH compared to other opioids?
  • Has anyone here withdrawn from 7-OH after using amounts in this range?
  • How would you compare it to oxycodone withdrawal?
  • Heroin withdrawal?
  • Fentanyl withdrawal?
  • Suboxone withdrawal?

I’ve been through more opioid withdrawals than I’d like to admit, and I think that’s part of why my tolerance seems to skyrocket so quickly every time I relapse.

At this point I’m less concerned about getting high and more interested in getting stable and moving forward. Any experiences, advice, or comparisons would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Going through it now and it sucks, had the WORST full body RLS i ever had and it sucked all fucking night.

It's fuckin crazy bro, if someomen would see what I am doing, full flailing my arms and legs at top speed, moving my head back and forth as fast as I can, "jolting" my spine up and down and all this happening at once... it is crazy bro, only thing I can think of is that I took 3 suboxone off the bat and it put my in bad WD and that shit lasted for 10 hours solid before now where it has calmed down a bit but I cannot still sit still, just a mess man

weird, I was just reading another post of someone saying they felt 7oh while on Suboxone. You think the subs put you into precipitated we?

The subs did but 7oh can EASILY breakthrough subs. I endured, went up to 60 mg of subs and fucked myself so hard I was looking for a bridge (figuratively) But at the 15 hour mark I got some 7oh and even with 60 mgs of bupe it IMMEDIATELY stopped the fucking INSANE precip, fucking worse than fetty or dope or anything I ever had before, the precip with 7oh and taking subs early was FAR FAR WORSE FAR WOSRE LIKE FUCKING CRAZY!!! But it was put to an end after 15 agonizing hours when alls I took was 300 mg of 7oh. Thank God, but it still means I gotta go through it all again to get off this shit, shit is fricken evil!

The subs will put you in PW if you don’t wait long enough after taking your last dose of opioids in order to induce bupe correctly (24-48hrs depending on the drug). You can 100% feel other opioids on buprenorphine if you take enough of them. You can end PW if you just find a full mu opioid agonist like heroin and do enough for it to push through the Suboxone blockade.

Got up to a 600mg/day 7OH habit myself and the withdrawals were the hardest thing I’ve ever been through. It sent me to the ER twice, and eventually started taking Suboxone just to quit. Felt like my brain was frying like an egg, couldn’t think clearly at all. The worst part of it all though was the violent RLS I got EVERYWHERE in my body, I tried to cold turkey so many times and the furthest I got was 2 days. That’s 2 straight days of no sleep and convulsing in my bed and on my cold kitchen floor because of the RLS and uncomfortable pain that I was in. That was couple with flu-like symptoms, no appetite, diarrhea etc….really just the standard opiate withdrawal symptoms. People who say that it isn’t that bad either didn’t get up to dosages this high or are full of shit, because it was brutal.
