Coming off Invega/Xeplion (paliperidone) injections v 12

Do you mean Matthew01? He’s also on Reddit. He started parnate but stopped after a week because he said it caused him anhedonia. He said he started off with 10mg but went up to 20 after 2 days though? I don’t know if he chose to do that or if his doctor told him to because they usually want to keep you on a certain dose for a week or two before raising it… he’s been asking about testosterone levels and if homorne treatment will help him.
 
I'm 9 months and 17 days and still totally disabled, Adderall doesn't work so clearly my dopamine is totally blocked, i don't get people that recover already.

Yeah I was told by a guy who has chronic akathisia like me and he said he got rid of it by taking testosterone shots.

I take TRT but i honestly dont know how it would help akathisia. It can certainly help anhedonia and depresssion but akathisia i dont know. But if you where on invega or any antipsychotic its defg worth getting your test levels checked

Yeah Im guessing he was confusing anxiety for akathisia.
 
14 months and still not recovered. Cant believe I am so close to 18 months but still no improvement in my situation. Anyone who recovered in the recent days? Starting to feel this is permanent.

Yeah thats how I felt after the abilify shot, I never had akathisia like from that antipsychotic that an Haldol.

Don’t despair. I saw a comment under a YouTube video about Invega where a guy said it took him 2 years before he felt normal again
 
Day 202. Small progress. Today cookies taste better than they used to. I really hope my receptors are starting to come back to life from under the oppression of Invega..
My libido is improving too, by the way. It’s much better than it was a month ago. I felt it yesterday

when was your last injection?
 
I think things might be getting worse for me at 14 months , I am noticing urinary incontinence again . I initially had it after the injection and around 4th month I took Solifenacin for 1 month then it had reduced. Now I am noticing the same thing again. So is my brain getting worse ?

could be fluctuation, I had urinary retention and then it came every now and then
 
Hello can anyone help, ive recently found that I cannot talk more than a few sentences! I only took 3 shots and im just over two months off but I simply cannot talk has anyone else had this problem and does it resolve
