How to tell if this is Ket wothout a test kit?

Hey, so my friend's gf was sold this very fine powder as Coke. But it definitely isnt coke. He thought I'd be into it cuz he thought it was meth... Definitely not meth...
Upon tasting it, I feel like it is K. But I wanted to know if anyone knows of any at home ways I can test to see if it is.... Thanks ahead of time.

There really isn't any reliable method compared to a $10 reagent test. Humans aren't spectrometers unfortunately.

Sprinkle some on a 2x4 piece of construction wood, just make sure its not treated with any chemicals or paint other than butcher's block sealant.

Leave if there for a day or two.

If it permanently stains the wood white, its probably ketamine.

Disclaimer: this is highly dubious, half joking, anecdotal advice. Ketamine stained my new new wooden countertop. But the only real way to know what you have is to send it to a lab.

nobody would sell a drug as rare and expensive as ketamine in place of some stomped on street coke.

the drugs aren’t remotely similar in effects so this is being done as one time scams not attempt to entice coke customers when drug as top shelf as ketamine. why would someone scamming use a drug as expensive as ketamine?

some dirty RC is my guess, what type, you’ll never know without testing it or get an idea without actually consuming it.

Could try the foil test; melt some of it on aluminium foil and if it turns red it's ketamine, or so they say. For all I know all the analogues and whatever else turn red too.

Ordering a home test kit not an option? They're available most everywhere.
