I’m considering adding abilify to my current Lamictal. The Lamictal doesn’t change the effects of hallucinogens, but my understanding is that the first and second generation antipsychotics will. I like to trip every once in a while don’t want to stop. I use different phenethyamines, tryptamines, and amphetamines (DOC, MDMA, etc), not one specific drug. How will the anbilify change my experience? I’m guessing it will attenuate or negate their effects, but it is a 3rd gen, so maybe not?

Zyprexa doeent stop shrooms from working for me if i skip a day or 2. But it has a shorter half life then abilify. I hated abilify so much but never bothered trying to trip on it. It would def dull it imo

Checkout abilify’s half-life, I experienced issues with this. Of course, I did it without the guidance of a gp. Probably could have used some gabap.

Ugh, I’m concerned about that. There are no good options. I’m surprised olanzapine doesn’t do the same..

I take abilify and experience none of those, so it may depend on the person whether or not they experience them.
I took risperidone for a year and a half before and had all of those symptoms.
