What are the best drugs for someone with severe ADHD to use to be able to watch movies or TV shows to fully focus on the plot/story and enjoy it?

IDK perhaps ask your provider
Man doctors and psychiatrists nowadays are fucking pussies, they don't want to prescribe anything that is even slightly a controlled substance, they wouldn't even prescribe me codeine as I was dying from cough attacks during a severe cold, do you really think they would give enough of a shit to prescribe me my proper ADHD meds? Fuck those cocksuckers, I don't need them anyways. Total waste of fucking money.

Dexedrine and ritalin both work good for me
I've tried to get prescription stimulants prescribed to me by a doctor to no avail. Maybe it's just the dumbass doctors I go to, I'll try to change doctors and stuff and if not I don't need to get it prescribed anyways because having ADHD is a good enough reason to use them.

I'm sorry about your doctor situation, however, not all doctors are the same. I get prescription Vyvanse and Dextramphetamine for depression and ADHD.

Psychiatrists are very different. Some are very reluctant. Some have their favorite drugs. Some just throw ridiculously large dosages of stimulants to kids with no second thought. ADHD does not automatically warrant stimulant treatment. However, Ritalin is the standard first line treatment. Reasons not to even consider Ritalin could be previous drug abuse or heart conditions. Typically, psychiatrists will only consider amphetamines if Ritalin does not work. This could be because it does not alleviate symptoms or because it gives cardiovascular or stress effects that are not acceptable. Unfortunately, asking for amphetamines without well formulated reasons can be interpreted as drug seeking behavior, which will make some psychiatrists stall.

Getting methamphetamine for ADHD is gonna be very difficult. It is only used in exceptional cases. The standard amphetamine treatment is lisdexamphetamine. And honestly this is much better if your goal is to be able to sit in the sofa watching a movie.

I'd stay away from Meth as it's a street drug so way more dangerous and unregulated.

Can you see a different doctor or a psych to get meds prescribed? If not and you're gonna get them illicitly, I'd try to stick to pharmaceuticals like Methylphenidate (Ritalin), Adderall, Dexamphetamine etc.
