Opioids methadone + amitriptyline

anyone taken methadone + amitriptyline ? they both can prolong QT so i worry about that interaction.

however amitriptyline inhibits an enzyme that converts methadone to EDDP thereby ootentiating it .

but potentiation isn’t the reason i’m interested in taking them both

Be careful with this mix I had a seizure by mixing the two. Yes other drugs were involved but the interaction is not good at all. Gave me SS took me a while to recover very bad never again

fucking up my heart, worst withdrawal of all. not handling me pain so i end up going to fentanyl poison

yea ami the main medicine prescribed for my disease, 1st lin treatment.

but i’m on methadone for the pain of my condition. but switching me to a normal opioid like hydrocodone is out of the question because a bunch of 20 year olds died doing fentanyl while partying ten years ago

so i guess ill just eat a bullet.
