I have a tiny bit of 80x salvia left and I want the time dilation
you know what I mean, when people say they live years in alternate worlds
my life is a fucking mess right now I have a episode every other day at this point, my psychiatrist isnt doing shit besides upping medications that I know wont work
I just need a break, another life for a few years
if anybody knows how to make this more likely when I smoke the rest of the salvia please tell me

@spypilot spending years in an alternate universe is how salvia can feel, but you do not actually go someplace more pleasant than where you are.
time loses its meaning as moments stack up. and salvia causes the sense of time passing to be extremely altered such that 30 consecutive moments are co-experienced, i.e. the leading edge of experience is prolonged, everything becomes layered on top of everything else and time jerks back and forth - it becomes very difficult or impossible to do ordinary things for 10 minutes, but it feels like it could have been days or more.

this is not good for you to use as an escape from an unpleasant set of circumstances. A small hit might give you some inspiration, but no technique will let you Hack the system with salvia.

Coadministering cannabis, LSD, and sinicuichi always got salvia time dilation to amplify the most for me, but I'm sure that it'll vary person to person and such an experience could easily be distressingly overwhelming for most people, I would suppose.

I was thinking some kind of slow bass drum in the background

I think I have seen that in 'shaman rituals' --- not sure it has anything to do with time dilation.

On a more serious note you should deal with your psychiatrist --- DO NOT LET THEM RAILROAD YOU INTO MEDS YOU DO NOT WANT TO TAKE

This is a fantastic point actually, music and set/setting contribute greatly to time dilation. I used to live in a super ghettoish area with around twice as many homeless folks living in tents than there were people in actual housing units, so I'd smoke sinicuichi while on acid after smoking a foolish amount of rosin, then lay back on my bed and start smoking salvia with the window open, listening to the unhinged screams, fights, conversations and other sounds of the city and time dilation has perhaps never been more intense than that singular experience. I also heard all sounds play and then play backwards, going back and forth in a similar way to the "pingpong" setting on some audio samplers. It fundamentally altered how I produce glitch music, actually.

I have never experienced any time-dilation with salvia! I have used a lot of the stuff too. Might be on a person by person basis whether or not those effects are possible

what did you experience on salvia ?

Constant anger and pessimism that must never be surrendered too, it must be laughed at. Frequent out of body, ego-death, experiences. Usually a cartoonish reality made of dull colors. Periodic hyper realism at high doses. Extreme deja-vu. Consistent entity contact. Zapping and tingingly sensations. Nonsense musical hallucinations. Extreme delusion. Never a desire, even once, to stand up (which I hear some people have to chain themselves down!). Ego-fragmentation. Paradoxical sensory experiences.

I once was motivated to go to the kitchen for a cold drink. while struggling with the stair case since my feet were on backwards, I managed not to break my neck, and I ended up going to the basement instead of the kitchen before realizing just how nutty things had gotten.

You use salvia a lot. Do you normally mill about like that while in a trip? I've always wondered how much the tendency to wander varies person-to-person versus trip-to-trip in the same person. Like every time I've done salvia (only maybe 10 times or so that were particularly strong), I've always just lied down and been essentially stationary. From these experiments I'd like to think I'll always be "safe" if I try it again and that I don't need a sitter, but maybe I should not tempt fate this way.

mostly I am sitting cross-legged sideways in a partially filled bath tub with a drink nearby and pen and paper for keeping notes.
I do not usually move around, but occasionally I have uncrossed my legs and moved to an different less comfortable position if I get in a difficult passage, but usually end the session back in cross legged position again. sometimes I do it at my desk in a chair. I have not wandered for 20 years - my dosing method is fairly accurate, between 300 and 500 micrograms of salvinorin -A on bits of cigarette paper

My fiance also just gets angry from salvia, very interesting.

What solvent do you extract with to get it to fit onto rolling papers like that?

@Esperighanto yes acetone - then the resulting black green guck can be de-chlorophylled using naptha - redissolved and re-eaxtracted with acetone and purified to a white crystal.
actually a different psychonaut produced one gram of salvinorin-A and gave it to me, having had a "realization" that he had to get rid of it. I think he just smoked too high a dose which is usually the case with people.

I then put it on cigarette paper for safe storage and handy usage in realistic amounts. I gave him some papers in payment, and lost track of him about 20 years ago.

At the time I was hoping that LSD would find me, but salvinorin-A found me instead. I was growing salvia plants at the time, but eventually harvested them so that we could show off our house in real estate viewings. I still have some harvested leaf, and might one day get a big sherlock holmes pipe for smoking that on the patio, but I need a big sun umbrella for that.

i stood up and ran quite coordinated and fast from what i was told.

i had no idea i had taken a drug or who or where i was

in the trip it was a full blown hallucination that f being trapped in a willy wonka type funhouse with a bunch of oompa loompas chasing me (this was what i was running from).

trip sitters had to tackle me to the ground to prevent running into traffic or a lake that was near by.
