Will i see a decent government before i die?

I wouldn’t even dose Zap #1. I don’t do authority figures.
It'd have been interesting to have done the Milgram experiment (if it wasn't a known thing) on a sample of EADD / Bluelight members.

I strongly suspect the results would have been a lot different, compared to what they were from the sample used in the published study.

For numerous and various reasons. But most certainly including the one Mr S mentions, and other things along similar lines.

Silly boy. I’m a cat person. And they are highly intersectional.

It's total pseudoscientific bullshit.

Really is astrology for boys. You can come out with a number of different results, but the common denominator is that it'll usually give you a result you'd want.

Nobody ever comes out of that 'test' unhappy with their result, because it's designed that way.

I have to say there’s some good points here.

We determine good and bad qualities but they exist to a point.

There are weak, selfish and cowardly people and the opposite.

It’s far more marketable to have a guaranteed positive than a truth pill.

Mister Smokes Blunts
That person was a PERFECT example of the dangers of "The Left" ideas mixed with trying to be "edgy" in that tragic 8Chan, early 20's way.
Mr Smokes Blunts AKA Pete556 AKA Ganjcat.

The same EADD member who burned Coffee onto some foil then tried to tell EADD it was Heroin & how good it was etc.
You remember that post @Shambles @F.U.B.A.R. I mean FFS lads burning Coffee onto Foil then trying to tell people like 3 who must have over 60 years experience between us how he had smoked this amazing Smack.

That kid was such a fucking tragic mess, I so wish he had got into good quality MDPV, can you imagine him on the loose in public after smoking 99.8% Pure MDPV Hcl for 5 days, that would be well worth a view.

Rockstar 69.
He actually came back for a short period about a year ago. Said who he was and everything. Apologised for what he'd done.

But I don't think it was just a convenient coincidence that none of the members he'd allegedly scammed were actively posting at that time.

Anyway, his second disappearance was just as quick and mysterious as his re-appearance was.

Wait.

So Ganjcat was the same guy as MSB?

MSB used to mock anybody who wasn't living the dream like him. Except for his only advocate, chinup (you don't even want to begin with that psycho).

Turned out he was on benefits all the time.

she wants to meet those cats. They seem like cool cats

I used to HATE Cats but over time I got to know my mates Cat, it does a "meow" each time it sees me now. It likes to sit on the floor, meow till I look at it & meow back, it then jumps up & sits on me. I have grown over time to think it's owkay as an animal but my heart is always with Dogs.

The worst thing about cats is their shit, I have lost count when last summer was here I would get into the flat after just getting some b & be dope-sick as fuck, you open the door & the flat is so hot it's at least 25*C inside & the cat has done a huge tan colour shit in the box, the heat has kinda "baked" the smell in the air, it hits your nose & back of your throat & makes me puke 100% of the time.

"she wants to meet those cats." well @Sadie this is what cats are like!!!!!

"Gabe finds out that the cattos wanted to poison him. So he confronted the leader of the cattos..."

Hail Gabe the Dog, Long Live The Doggo Republic of Gabeistan.

Not really any interest in the local elections on Thursday?

I don't think I've ever bothered voting in them before, mainly because Labour has always won the local and parliamentary elections by landslide majorities in the ward I live in.

This year it does seem like everything could change. With the projected continued rise of the Greens and Reform, and decline of Labour and Conservative.

I'll be a +1 for Green, not because they are perfect and have everything right, but mainly because they are the only party advocating tackling the growing inequalities in the UK. Meanwhile the Labour party has sold it's soul to the millionaires, billionaires, and corporations. Every vote for Green, whether they win the seat or not, (I believe they are the front runners currently) sends a message to the Labour party that they need to move back further to the left.

There is a huge hole in left wing policies right now, and it currently looks like the Greens are the only party that can fill that hole.

All the woke bullshit that people mock the Greens for, bothers me a lot less, than much more important issues like growing inequality, with the working low paid getting taxed ever more, while corporations and the ultra rich are free to avoid most tax by various legal means of clever accounting.

Notice that Hannah Spencer made a point of criticising alcohol in the HoC? It reeked of a dog whistle aimed at certain constituents who would look upon that criticism favourably.

In my ward and the neighbouring Longsight, both candidates are British Muslims, which is fair enough, but one has been involved with multiple religious organisations and the Longsight candidate is making lots of noise about helping people with immigration problems. Call me cynical, but that shows what demographic is being targeted by the Greens in this part of the city.

The successful candidate should be asked to walk the length of the A6 wrapped in a rainbow flag. That's test their commitment to all the community. Maybe make them chug a Guinness like Ed Miliband and his performative bacon butty. This is / was the Irish part of town after all.

@Perkins : Reborn Well, securing a large proportion of the Muslim vote in the Gorton by-election was a pretty shrewd tactical move. She kind of has to give something back to that community now that they, in no small part, helped her win the election.

Appeasi
I'm sure she wll give back to that community. But the rest of us can just fuck off...
That's the thing. Over the whole of her constituency, Muslims represent less than 20%. Loads of people identify as 'Christian', with the majority just celebrating Christmas and maybe baptising their kids. Rest is no religion (21.2%) or a few others under 1%. Where's the pandering to the 21.2%?

I think the whole Green / Muslim alliance is a house of cards which will collapse in the fairly near future. There's no way of reconciling socially progressive values and religious conservatism - Islam especially - and given time it will break.

@Bleaney I understand your sentiments mate, but do you really think that the greens are competent enough to actually change anthing?
They are a completely unknown quantity at present tbh.

The mainstream media, mostly owned by billionaires, are terrified of them though, and won't give them any impartial, unbiased, coverage on TV or newspapers.

Did you see the way Ed Balls completely lost his shit and turned ultra nasty when interviewing Zack Polanski on ITV's Good Morning Britain recently? Polanski handled it well though, and Ed Balls did himself no credit with that interview. It's on Youtube as well as lots of different content creators opinions on the whole thing. JimmytheG covered it well, and pretty much articulated the exact same unarticulated thoughts and sentiments that I had about the Greens.

Like I say though, every vote for them sends a message that those voters want a party that is much further to the left than the current iteration of the Labour party. I think that is the most important factor.

Polanski lost any respect when he shat himself on being asked about the 'globalise the intifada' chant.

He couldn't outright condemn it because it'd upset prospective constituents and so he did a weasel act on a par with any politician from the big three.

Just say it. It was wrong. And it advocates terrorism.
