I'm not sure if this is the correct thread for this, if it isn't I apologise. I woke up this morning after rolling last night. Listened to my body, knew when the peak was over, didn't try to force any more and fell asleep and slept 6 hours. This morning I woke up feeling great, made me and my gf eggs, fruit smoothies and coffees, I have has 2 cofees. It is currnet 13:58 and I am now starting to feel a bit tired (of course as to be expected, I am suprised I don't feel like complete shit). I am still doing stuff I am insterested in currently (my hobbies being CTFs). But I suddnely had the thought of microdosing my shrooms today. Any thoughts on that? Good idea? Bad idea? Will it fuck my brain chemistry and damage my brain cells more than if I just left it? I am very concerned with my neuro health and well-being due to the fact that my job is extremely technical. I have a Q of shrooms and heard from other programmers / hackers that microdosing really helps them think creatively which is super important in our practice, and helps them zone in and focus. I have taken mushies many many times, I don't remeber how many, they used to grow like 5 mins away from my house so literally every season I would be tripping and I have also microdosed in the past during coming off of other substances. What I am trying to say is I am no rookie when it comes to shrooms. I am just aware that I have battered my brain cells that are stimulated by seretonin as I didn't really prepare for my roll in terms of taking vitamins and shit that will help protect my brain from the damage that MD causes. I am aware that psilocybin acts on seretonin receptors as well I believe? So maybe this will end up causing way more damage and have the exact opposite effect of what I am looking for (which is more focus for today as I want to chill and do some CTFs and crypto war games). If I get no response to this thread in like an hour I am going to go ahead and go through with this experiment and report back with results, but in the mean time, if anyone could give any advice regarding this subject, it would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to get technical with brain chem in your answers. I am uneducated in that area, but I love learning deeply technical things, and there is no better time to learn something technical than when you have a hands on problem right in front of you requiring that technical knowledge. Thanks in advance
