A tale of two dispensaries and the 'same' product. Thoughts?

So recently there has been a tax / price hike on pot in my region so I decided to try a different dispo seeing that I could get the same deal on the same brand of live resin that I do from my normal dispensary.

The thing is despite being the same brand and the same 'live resin' even in one case the same strain "Candymob" --- The look and consistency was almost completely different at the new dispensary

Dispo A's R'brand live resin -- came in a 10g jar that was handed straight to you --- inside the contents were a light yellow with a semi-liquid consistency.

Dispo B's R brand live resin -- Came in 1g jars only which were packaged in like the type of plastic youd get an action figure in -- or a cart kind of. Much darker color and a much harder consistency.

I'll be honest -- taste umm all concentrate tastes almost the same through my nectar collector (and that is probably on me) so I can't give ya much on that sense.

Which one you guy's think is better (I have an opinion but I dont wanna bias the question) -- thoughts on why there would be such discrepency in the same brands same product in the same town?
 
What state? Sounds like a situation of dispo a is buying and selling the product without breaking it down, where dispo b is already broken down tlor individual resale (as well as being stored poorly)

However, 95% of states dont allow that. Do you know if theyre the same batch numbers?
 
MI -- I should be able to get the batch # on the darker stuff I still got the receipt for.

The 10g jar I tossed the receipt immediately of course as it was a couple weeks ago

Same brand doesn’t mean same batch at all, could be diff harvest, storage, even how long it sat on the shelf, that darker thicker one sounds older or maybe handled worse, I’d pick the fresher lighter one every time.
 
I am dealing with a d8 cart that doesn't suck or pull whatsofucking ever, even when they do work my heart feels like we breathe through straws..

I told them I am finished with their bs product. It is always dark and does not hit well and the buzz is shit too.

A store down the street has better carts and they are CLEAR and they actually get you high. Be careful out there.

Odd thing is the darker more solid stuff seemed to last longer and hit harder. Which is against my traditional knowledge as well.
