Medications/Supplements for Amphetamine Psychosis

So I've gotten back into using amphetamines (either Adderall or crystal meth) on an occasional basis for school and work; however I've also noticed it's really easy to fall into that slippery slope thought process of paranoia: I think I'm hearing police sirens off in the distance, seeing shadow people, thinking people are following and spying, that every car I see is an undercover cop, and think that any moment SWAT is going to come barging in - yep, the whole nine yards.

Obviously, moderating and reducing use and making sure I'm getting adequate food, water and sleep - are the two most preventable solutions. However, when psychotic symptoms do appear are there any medications/supplements that work really well for it?

I do have a script for Zyprexa as well, plus magnesium supplements, but I'm also thinking of throwing a benzo (such as clonazepam) in there too. But any additional suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

Only ways i know are
Getting blackout drunk (just stop using the stim and drink yourself to sleep, just be cautious since at first you wont even feel the booze but your body will)
Benzos
Anti psychotics

There's a great Drug to use to treat Amphetamine Psychoses. It's called Clozapine. I suggest you look into it and also ask your doctor about it. Because you sound like you need it.

Benzos and alcohol can both cause rebound anxiety which can make paranoia worse. Antipsychotics are a good recommendation though, because they will actually reduce paranoid & delusional thinking.

An antipsychotic like Zyprexa could be helpful in reducing the psychotic symptoms like paranoia, anxiety etc. As I´m sure you know, treating Amphetamine Psychosis in such a way is not a solution to the problem. It might slightly lessen the severity of consequences within a given episode, however, being able to mitigate said psychotic symptoms will more than likely just lead you to take more Methamphetamine as opposed to the scenario of - taking the antipsychotic then spontaneously deciding to also be responsible about your usage going forward. The two things are mutually exclusive.

Temporarily, yes, they are an effective treatment. It´s not a terrible idea if you find yourself in psychosis. However, just remember you will have to pay the piper at some point regardless of how much of the negativity you´ŕe able to mitigate. Yes, Benzodiazepines are also going to be helpful for calming you down, reducing anxiety, paranoia etc. Just use them sparingly and never for consecutive days.
