when I was reading trainspotting, (well the first book skag boys) I had to adjust to how it’s written, as it’s written in Scot’s English I believe it’s called?

Got me well trained up, my inner voice was starting to sound Scottish. I adore all the ways things are sound and spoken compared to the English people speak from where I was born in the south east.

Dunno why I stopped reading it, I got half way through, it’s really good I just think it may of been there is so many POVs, Irvine is a good writer but not so great for structuring but that’s just me

I have never read trainspotting but I did read Filth which I thought was amazing
I don't normally read fiction but I had seen the film which I loved and thought I better read the book
Very gritty

I love the film, bet the book would be great. Must read it. I knows James McAvoy is a bit triple A but he does roles like this amazingly.

Will keep it in mind, I love really fucked up books

James mcAvoy I thought was amazing in the film ,really sleazy for the most part but able to pull at your heart strings when his life starts unravelling

Usually we go through middle east but this time we are going via Constantinople
A 9.5 hour flight from there to Siam
