is benzo withdrawl a thing that just smacks you instantly like a train weeks after your last dose described as a never ending panic attack that was triggered by some kind of traumatic incident?

there is no physical symptoms like sweating or GI issues. just panic, shaking almost, terror. feel like a battered scared dog or something.

opioid withdrawal is very predictable and independent of something “triggering” it and it comes on at the expected time point a few days after the last dose and very gradually rather than all at once.

that describes what has happened to me for a second time now.

i’m two weeks since my last diazepam dose where i would typically use very irregularly, like 20 mg 1 or 2 X per week…sometimes more and sometimes less , but never really going more than two weeks without at least a single 10 to 30 mg dose.

My friend…..IF ONLY you had access to pharmaceutical grade 100% purity Diclazepam (2-Chloro Diazepam) which was synthesized by the same Polish chemist who made Valium (Diazepam) and Klonopin (Clonazepam)

Diclazepam is ACTUALLY BETTER than Valium for a safe, slow, gradual taper without feeling any discomfort or withdrawal if done correctly and sloooowly nearing the end.

Diclazepam 48h>Delolorazpem 78h >>Lorazepam (Ativan) 12h —- 200h+ after 7-14 days there are STILL active metabolites Lorazepam (Ativan) in your system …..which is being gradually released from the accumulated Delorazepam (main active metabolite/legal benzodiazepine in Italy) still in your system

Diclazepam is essential the “Methadone” of the benzodiazepine world ……why it was never brought to market?

I had 1,500mg of extremely hi purity Diclazepam (2-Chloro Diazepam) over 10+ years ago….all gone …….for a tolerant 6’ 240 lbs male…. 3mg oral Diclazepam would fully metabolize into Delorazepam within 1.5-2 days 48h

This 3mg Diclazepam is Sooooooo gradual onset……and a non-sedating POTENT Anxiolytic with a2 & a3 subunit receptor selectivity ……I would feel perfectly fine for nearly TWO ENTIRE WEEKS due to its 3 main active benzodiazepine metabolites (which are all legally prescribed throughout the world)

Valium (Diazepam) 10mg then 5mg then 2mg scored tablets from slow safe taper…….plus Clonidine 0.1mg scored tablets and Pregabalin (Lyrica) 300-450mg which in medical journals has been proven to reduce benzodiazepine usage and minimize withdrawal symptoms, improved mood and has anxiolytic properties in addition to anticonvulsant ones

Clonidine is a VERY potent and effect Anxiolytic and mild sedative……reducing norepinephrine in the CNS which reduces elevated HR & BP from Benzo withdrawal

NOW…..finding the RIGHT medical profession and not some dip shit, that has nearly ZERO knowledge base about benzodiazepine MOA and how to safely taper a patient off long term benzodiazepine medication

Find a mature Europe white man (hard as shit to find now a days) …..you don’t want some Cub Scout square That’s like oh sorry I don’t prescribe these meds…..Oh, well you dip ship, benzodiazepine withdrawal can be LETHAL

Avizafone (Pro-Diazepam) is also an excellent option IM administered, a RAPID acting water soluble pro-drug with fast peak serum levels 0.5h C-Max …..vs 1.5h for oral Diazepam…..also reaches SIGNIFICANTLY higher levels in bloodstream……hits FAST and HARD

AVIZAFONE 40mg IM injection 10-15min full onset / 0.5h peak levels
DIAZEPAM 20mg oral - 45min onset / 1.5h peak levels

I’ve probably acquired and administered over 50 grams of pharmaceutical grade Avizafone over the past 2 years or so…..must faster clearance than standard oral Diazepam

#1 Benzodiazepines HANDS DOWN ….. Diclazepam (2-Chloro Diazepam) 1mg = Valium 10mg / Xanax 0.5mg

It's good you were using irregularly, it might soften the initial blow.

Clonazepam hits like a train after 4 to 5 days if using daily .
You turn from a confident individual to a nervous wreck

Diazapam would take a little longer

It's good you have no physical effects ,and your dosage was low

Others on the forum can give you advice on otc remedies and other things that might help
Are you sleeping OK?

20mg 1-2 times a week and two weeks since last dose? Don't stress yourself out, dude. That's a drop in the hat. You're using less than grandmas on therapeutic levels.

I remember my entire legs were numb and could barely walk always got through it like a champ though atleast 3 or 4 times.

Are you sleeping OK?

yea that’s the thing thing that makes me think it was a legitimate panic attack and not withdrawl. i could sleep when it got calm enough and i was tired enough (still sleeping every night(

i got a bad panic attack last night night and excercise totally stopped it.

i think it could be ptsd or some shit idk

Yeh just got to power through it ,I used alcohol, which absolutely works but only for a very short time and makes things worse in long run
I could feel my legs getting harder and harder to put one foot in front of the other
Brain zaps ,you mention it ,I had it
Guts were unpleasant to say the least

The booze helps nothing, but for an hour or two, then it converts, stimulates, and makes you feel awful and cracked out. Never the answer. Not to downplay what you're feeling, but your habit is BARELY a habit, man. You shouldn't be feeling any withdrawals at that rate and dosage with diazepam, especially this far out. Chiiiilllll. I would recommend a good Fijian kava, Vanuatu.

IME, no. Its a slow build up. However, it depends on what benzo is being taken. Generally, the faster acting benzos cause a quicker and more acute withdrawl, whole lomg lasters (diazepam) temd to produce a more drawn out but less acute withdrawl.

I was taking FLUALP (fast acting) everyday for a few years. I would take in the evening before bed, and about 24 hrs later, i would start to feel the WD, which was terrible.

Only way i was able to get off was by taking a long laster. I would basically go to the point i didnt think i could take it anymore and take a half valium. "Just enough" to make the WDs bearable. A few days later, id take the other half.

At some point, you just have to stop. That was the hard part for me.
