Heroin VS fentanyl withdrawal

@Them Witches - Well, I regained mobility so the pain was less. I think people assume that a medication will render them pain free. That is not and cannot ever be the goal. The goal can only ever be to control the pain sufficiently so the patient can function.

Because it had no other psychoactive effects, a lot of people seemed to think they don't work. Maybe for some they simply don't? But for me at least, at the approrpiate dose, I could hobble to and from my local shop. 400m each way. That's a big deal if you haven't left your home in months.

Maybe if I could have gotten them to stick properly, I might have received pain relief.

Officially "opioid crisis" relating to prescription pain killers is not longer associated to the 'illicit supply drugs."

We have a "substance abuse crisis" and a "illicit drug supply crisis" for f*ucks sake call it "Mystery Power Crisis"

The TV news and Internet new almost always show "prescription pills" when the air them meaning "opioid crisis".... Why not show images of the US military guarding poppy fields? Wonder if leaving all of our taxed paid military surplus was a good-bye thanks for letting us collect and store a massive amount of raw opium. Nah...that wouldn't happen. On to new and cheaper efforts with this synthetic "mystery power." Off 400,000 US addicts US MAT grosses $3.2 million daily on brand name Methadose alone.

Damn right when someone runs out of a "illicit drug supply" that is what they need to being telling "mystery power" to the ER/Hospital, Psych Ward. and/or registered treatment program.

They have skin/sweat patch drug tests that stay on the body for up to a week to determine the exact drug and levels amounts of the active ingredient. I mean that is the way to drop harm reduction correctly by wearing a skin patch and come back in 6 days. the doctor's will know close to exactly the patient's MME level, alpha-2 level, Benzo level. I hate to say it but F*ck it, no more going to the Methadone or Suboxone clinics claiming outrageous fairy tales of drug use tolerance.
