Help! Can you take shrooms with methadone?

Don’t make fun of me lol but I’ve been on methadone for 4 years (135mg daily) and I want to take a small amount of shrooms tonight… like a 1/4 of a gram..

Is this risky??

Shuld be fine. Never had methadone before but shrooms and dilaudid or shrooms and morphine is great so i dont see why shrooms and methadone wouldnt be

Shrooms will work just fine with methadone, I can attest. There is nothing about methadone pharmacologically that will block the effects of psilocin. But is 0.25 g enough to feel anything with shrooms?

Is there anything about psilocybin mixing with an opiate that is dangerous??

In general, the risk should be low and limited to highly circumstantial things. I assume your methadone is a maintenance dose with little activity other than preventing withdraw, in which case the risk should be very low indeed.

It’s perfectly safe. I ate an 8th of shrooms whilst still on methadone and it was my first time ever doing shrooms. A time was had. Lol. Happy tripping.

If anything the shrooms will help to mitigate the questionable effects of methadone. I wrote this post as a practical guide for full recovery from opioid use. It also deals with harm reduction for all drugs including methadone.

For recovery it addresses short-term acute withdrawals and prevents long-term relapse which is something that many rehab clinics don't accomplish properly. I'm aware of 1 private rehab clinic in the UK that uses similar items. They are all available OTC with zero experimental or expensive items used.
