Technical Problem My IP address seems banned

What some power-users and semi- idle novices enthusiats seems falling short at, it's the fact that all devices use IPv4/6, therefore a newsletter publically made by Microsoft not so long ago(around 4 yrs or so) 4 being the most extreme, could be 3, that we ran out of allocated IPv4 addresses, and to counterattack this, they said we'll soon move to IPv6, where this will become a very unlikely scenario, so if such disaster happens, it's just an exception that will be fixed as time goes on, and all companies moving away from the standard vulnerable IPv4. This situation OP's in, happend to other 80% of the internet grid users, some of them never visited the website in question as a matter fact.

It is possible that the OP's ISP serves out non-persistent IPs for this reason. I also note that the IP served out of TOR is IPv6 in the OP's case.

Doesn't mean this all happend because of CF, as other DNS's are still doing the same thing, serving a shortcut, but... Websites as well.

So is bit of both, nothing you can do about it, other than... what you doing now. VPN's are the same thing, you might get lucky on one country, but not the other.

this was absolutely bluelight's 'fault'. the ip address had been explicitly added to the block list by a bl staffer, at some point in the past, as a result of suspected spam activity by an alt. account.

the block has been removed and the issue is resolved.

Exactly as how the ARM/mobile platforms will soon transfer VoLTE/Wi-Fi Calling/IPv6, as a standard for a basic call-to-end. So in layman terms, 3G will be completely dead in 70% of EU in the next five years.

IPv4 will be used only for caches within closed environments for potential transfers. While it's in the state that is, it's.. quite a bit faster
