Female bands/musicians!♥️

I'm sure somebody has mentioned THE BREEDERS!

Kim Deal who was known for being the legendary bass player for the legendary band Pixies but she and her twin sister formed The Breeders and have consistently been one of the coolest and most overlooked "alternative rock" bands to have existed.

Listen to them, come on! Don't be a dick.

Surely they have been mentioned but I have to express my love for them as I am a massive fan.

saw them play in Paris and they were brilliant. So fun and effortlessly cool. They are an amazing band musically speaking as well. 'Last Splash' is one of the best records of the 90s but I don't think they've ever done anything bad. Steve AlbinI produced all their stuff for free which is all the endorsement they need (RIP to that particular genius and legend of alt rock).

Great thread and so many fantastic artists to check out or rediscover.
