Will i see a decent government before i die?

Red Ed is truly mentally ill, he is dangerous with his "Green agenda" rubbish.

Farage is a plague & Mind-virus, when you have people from the old Mine towns who love him & vote for him when if you actually listen to him when he does a speech his not that far removed from Thatcher.

Sadly people who have a very low I.Q. jump onto his gibberish of blaming people who are running away from War & ignore everything else he says.
Go ask any of the Reform fans from Working Class towns what the Reform policy is on drugs or anything else & I bet you at the very least 90% will have no clue, go ask those people how many speeches they have listened he has done & yet again at the very least 90% will have NEVER heard him speak.
These lot will be in for a real shock if Reform get in & their PIP & other Benefits are cut & they are forced to get to work.
Agree about ed . As I said at least Nigel come off a bit more human and has a sensible opinion on things like business rates. Imagine ed milibrain tackling national insurance or vat. It would be like Harold Shipman running as minister for health.

All the more reason for him to shut the fuck up and go away to quaff brandy in a 'gentlemans' club.
I mean he wants to give it one last go at being pm. He did say he could have just put his feet up a few years ago but is probably a workaholic.

Suppose you're right in that he wants to further his career. Don't we all though?

I dunno mate, 'Nigel' is more passionate about his own career than the UK.

As they all are...
I agree with you here most of the way, you are 100% correct on "As they all are..." part though.

Farage & his Cult are all the same in their thinking of "Old England" they seem to want to take The UK back to the time just before World War 2.
They seem to love that stereotype of England with people wearing tweed suits, men & women dressing like The English Raj in India, people eating Spam, Tea to be drank at 3pm with cucumber sandwich, people of "the lower class" working 20 hours a day in some kind of Downton Abbey shit.

The more I come across people who have this way of thinking the more I wanna wear a moroccan djellaba, play Berber music at insane volume, drink Indian Chai etc.

As I've said so many times before The UK would be so fucked & in terms of Culture they place would be dead if it wasn't for The Windrush boats coming over from Jamacia.

Anyone who is a fan of Reform & posts on here needs to hear what Andrea Jenkyns has to say about The Green Party Drug policy.
This is the woman who said on Jeremy Vine on Channel 5 on the morning that The Greens were mad & to make Heroin legal would make a Nation of Zombies!!!!!!??????

She actually said if they got into power everyone would be buying Heroin & Crack & nobody would be going to work, the whole of the UK would become a Narco State, she actually thinks this will happen!!!!!!!

I have heard what Farage & his Cult want to do with The UK Drug policy & if you think it's bad now you just wait & see folks.
Anyone who posts on here & smokes Weed & God Forbid you use Heroin or anything else you are an idiot & have no place being on here, they want to lock up dealers for decades & cut all funding for Methadone, Espranor, N.A. meetings etc.

Their ideas are equal to what Harry Anslinger from The USA stood for & they share his ideas about drug use & how to deal with addicts, at the least The Green party have understood making things illegal doesn't work & funds illegal gangs & the cash goes back to International Cartels who are also into stuff like Human Trafficking etc. Maybe I am mad but to think of Women forced into Sex Work & The Taliban buying bombs makes me kinda sick, maybe you think this is a good idea but I don't.

Reform-UK-manifesto.png

The Reform party takes a zero-tolerance approach to drugs, calling for more punishments.
Reform is the only party explicitly calling for a “substantial” increase in stop and search practices to “crackdown” on crime and antisocial behaviour. Their ‘contract’ (manifesto) calls for mandatory life imprisonment for all drug dealers and traffickers, irrespective of the substance, and “heavy fines” attached to the creation of a new offence of “substantial possession”.

The party also supports militarising the police force, with plans to increase their numbers by 40,000, prioritising ex-military personnel, particularly for leaderships roles, and implementing strict training on presentation and fitness for all officers.

During a recent interview, Reform leader Nigel Farage clarified his position on drugs decriminalisation, having expressed support for it in the past. He now believes that decriminalisation in the U.S. “hasn’t really made much difference”, emphasising that the “law’s the law” and that substances like cannabis does “more long term harm than most people realise”.

The Green party drugs policy is just clickbait. Telling us what we want to hear just for votes.

If they actually got into power, never mind a U turn, it would be a fuckin handbrake turn with smoking wheels and everything.

Full of shit.
same old same old

would still rather have them in power than reform mind, but that's a very, very low bar (and as for the "human? Lowe, well that bar is so low it's about to pop up Australia)

TBH I'm not 100% sure on this one.
I disagree with their Green agenda & from what I've read of their PDF files online & in interviews I do think lots of what Zack Polanski says is a dream & will never happen BUT when it comes to their drug policy I do think it will happen, they do see & understand what we have had for decades isn't working & his listed The German Cannabis laws, the total drug policy of Portugal, the decades old laws about Cannabis in Holland.

He gets the bigger picture & has said many times people have used drugs since the start of humans on Earth, if people have used stuff to get high since we had the ability to smoke weed, drink Yage etc we will NEVER STOP so to make it illegal is stupid, why not Tax it & then use the money to fund decent Rehab places & for people like me who if I am honest are a "lifer" & have no real desire to quit using Heroin be given the option to go to Boots or a chemist & get clean & "healthy" Morphine instead of Methadone or be forced to go onto the street & buy Heroin that's only funding illegal groups & making very bad people rich.

It would be career suicide for anyone in power to introduce radical drug reforms in the UK at present.

Look what happened when Cannabis was reclassified to C under Labour. I thought "finally, they're starting to see sense". Didn't fuckin last long did it?

Maybe in several generations time?

You are right on this one, I was with you in thinking "Yes here we go, someone has used Logic for once" & it was taken back to a Class B in a couple of years time.

It's people like my Mom who goes red in the face with Rage & hate when the word "Drugs" is raised, she uses the word "Druggy" all the time & for years didn't see a gap between smoking Weed & smoking Heroin, to her it was all "Drugs" which is insane, I tried for ages to get her to understand but she never cared to listen, she had NO ISSUE on a Saturday night & 100% on a Sunday to go to the local Pub & drink Gin for a few hours & come back very pissed, so much Gin was in her belly she would fall to sleep after a few hours & be bang out for hours. That to her was fine & using Gin which was coming in at the very least 40% ABV was fine.

So many people seem to have a weird mental issue with the word "Drugs" & they imagine the worst stereotype of addict the moment the word is raised.
I truly fear The UK will never change the laws till I am well dead & turned to dust in the grave.

One aspect of the Denton & Gorton results is that if you combine the Labour and Green vote then 65% of the results weren't in favour of the right.

At the same time, the right wing vote was overwhelmingly Reform, albeit below 30% of the vote.

Which just shows that politics are becoming even more divisive these days.

It's either far left or far right, and when it comes down to it, they're both the fuckin same.
