To give people an idea how tough CJNG are / were they were at the start called "Los Zeta Killers" & were set up for one simple reason & that was to hunt down Los Zeta & kill them. When you take into account Los Zeta were originally Special Trained Army members that says it all.

A Bruja (Witch) I know who lives in rural Oaxaca has their village run by Sinaloa Cartel & has been for decades, about 2 years ago CJNG tried to make a move into that area & take over, they put up a few huge Narcomantas ( large, cloth banners hung in public places by drug cartels in Mexico and other parts of Latin America. They serve as a form of criminal communication and psychological warfare, typically containing threats against rival gangs, government officials, or messages directed at the public.) naming local people who would be killed on sight as they had several Sicarios (armed hitmen who work for cartels) driving around, nobody was allowed out of their house after 7pm & if you were seen on the street you would be taken away to be questioned, all narcocorridos (Folks music that sings the praises of drug lords & groups) were banned unless it was in praise of CJNG & anyone who refused to turn it off would be shot (2 young men in the village were shot in the knees for breaking this rule the first night)
1 of the guys named in the Narcomantra was spotted & his mom was filming him as he was with his son out on a sunny day buying icecream, a bike pulled up & a guy pulled out some kinda pistol & blew his head off right in the middle of the street, I've seen this video myself due to it being passed to a friend who goes to Mexico a few times a year & knows people from this village.

After a week of CJNG control the Army were sent in & for 3 days it was an open war on the street with AR-15 rounds going off all day & night, people were having their doors kicked in, nobody knew who the men in ski masks etc were as The Army didn't wear normal Army clothes& CJNG dressed just like normal people too, the only difference was they had an AR-15 on their back & a couple of Desert Eagle .50 Action Express guns in their pockets & hands.

After open gun fights for a few days CJNG had to pull back & the town went back to normal peace, it just shows even though Sinaloa run the place when CJNG came they had the ability to calling the fucking Army, that shows how corrupt the whole system is over there. The Army pass control back over to a huge cartel that at the time El Chapo's sons were running,

Yeah you know what you are talking about, nobody knew what he looked like & he got caught out by a candid camera comedy show being shown on Columbia TV. His image was caught by an undercover camera on one of those reaction comedy sketch shows, he was sitting in a cafe & the camera panned across the people having a coffee & he was caught.

When you think of all the years he was a total ghost, nobody had anything about him on file, even The DEA had to admit he was a total ghost & weren't sure if he was even real till that day.

The Jalisco New Generation Cartel (Spanish: Cártel de Jalisco Nueva Generación, pronounced [ˈkaɾtel ðe xaˈlisko ˈnweβa xeneɾaˈsjon]), also known as CJNG, is a Mexican criminal syndicate based in Jalisco formerly headed by Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes ("El Mencho") until he was killed by the Mexican Army in 2026. Impact of El Mencho's influence through his marriage

Following El Mencho's death in February 2026, it was reported that El Mencho had actually gained influence in the CJNG through his marriage to Rosalinda González Valencia. Despite the influence he obtained through his marriage to Valencia, he was acknowledged to have separated from her in 2018, and was even involved with a different romantic partner at the time of his death in February 2026. Nevertheless, El Mencho's stepson was regarded to be his "de facto second-in-command" by the time of his death.



First appearance

In June 2009, inside an abandoned truck in a residential neighborhood in Cancún, Quintana Roo, the Mexican authorities discovered the corpses of three men. Along with their remains was found the following message:

We are the new group Mata Zetas (Zeta Killers) and we are against kidnapping and extortion, and we will fight them in all states for a cleaner Mexico.

These murdered men were then linked to individuals who had been shown in a video on YouTube while being interviewed by masked men armed with assault rifles. A number of videos online confirmed the existence of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, which was dedicated at that time to kill Gulf Cartel and Zeta members alike. In the interrogation videos done by the Mata Zetas, the captured cartel members confessed their criminal activities and gave out the names of police commanders and politicians who provided them with protection. According to Terra Networks, the government agency of the SEIDO received a phone call on 1 July 2009 from an unidentified man who said that the cartel members of Los Zetas were going to be "kidnapped and eliminated" from Cancún and Veracruz.

Some guy who was big in a rival cartel was arrested, during he was in custody he told the DEA he knew what he looked like & told them the TV show his face had been shown. The DEA found the TV show & asked the guy to point him out.
