I found a pretty safe and solid way to extract it from any type of patches out there.. SLOW WAY= get a cup or container. Get really hot water from sink or heat it to a boil start. And trim the patches up and let soak in the hot water. After a few hours or even a day maybe 2 depending on what ya wanna do. You evaporate any extra water and or pull it thru cotton into your rig. And then boom. FAST WAY= trim up the patches place them on a spoon. Pour in hot water to fill.the spoon up all the way. And then heat your spoon from under just til it starts to boil. Soon as it starts drop the heat a min. Stir around. Let cool a min or 2. Then reheat. Repeat process. Until ya feel ya got enough out of it. Then pull thru cotton and enjoy. After it cools obviously. Lmk how it works for yall.

I have a related question if you have any insight on it:

I haven't figured it out yet, but I posted about Butrans patches and if they could be used recreationally. I do know that Butrans patches are a matrix style release whereas fentanyl patches are a reservoir so maybe that makes the Butrans patch have no recreational value. I am aware that buprenorphine is not that recreational, but it's all I have.

I haven’t seen a fentanyl patch in years. Are you guys prescribed them? Can I even ask that question?

I was prescribed them years ago like probably 16 or 17 years ago now. They where expensive as fuck at te pharmacy back then so i was only on them a few months. Also i much preffered morphine or dilaudid over fent. Though fent was good for pain it had no euphoria

Did you ever get the ones that had gel in them? We’d rub the gel on our gums and it would feel pretty euphoric to me. The problem with fent to me is it has no legs.

Yup i ate, smoked and snorted the frozen gel. Still no real euphoria. But then again i was used to dilaudid by then and noting beats that although morphine is second

I can only feel dilaudid and morphine IV. I’ve shot up plenty in my life, but the consequences scared me away from it. It’d still IV a dilly but my source is way too expensive. By the way I just learned tonight they make what I’m assuming is extended release hydromorphone. Sophidone 24mg and edunix 32mg.

Haha, I seriously was going to ask that same question, but I wasn't sure if that was against the rules.
Yea I’m not sourcing at all. Just generally wondering where they are still prescribing these things. Other than its use in anesthesia, I don’t see the point in it. I guess I’ve never had pain that bad, it’s just another evil layer of big pharma. They make stuff that’ll kill you if you take too much and/or make stuff that’ll kill you when you come off of it, and you better believe you’ll get yanked off of it at some point like benzos and such. Can I hijack this thread real quick? Are there any medications that’ll satisfy an addict, what I mean is get a buzz without building a tolerance that’s relatively easy to come off of? Have they tried? From my research, and I’m a very average IQ wise person. 22 on my ACT and not good with math and science so it’s hard for me to know what a lot of the stuff I’m reading is saying, but I’ve read about studies in the opiate/opioid class that they have made some pain medication that works like an opiate without the euphoria so people don’t chase the high and unalive themselves. This is speculation on what I interpreted without looking up what some of the words mean. Is there a thread that talks about the evils of big pharma and the government y’all can point me too? I always seem to get to that topic at the end of my responses and I might be better off posting there.

There is a new medication Journvax I think it is called that might be what you are looking for but it only is used for acute, not chronic pain.
