Not sure who you mean but nah, the never-voted people aren't local to you and Reform councilor defectors are from Kent somewhere iirc

I take all the pollster calls, although only three parties have been bothered up to now.
They all give you stats, but when you check them they're from different sources that are favourable to them.
It's Labour, Green or Reform here. The Libs generally don't bother. Worryingly though, Reform seem to be in front. The constituency is split between white golf club members and British Pakistanis / Bangladeshis and a white mixture of students and local residents.
We're absolutely terrified that the vote split on the left would bring in Refor,m.

I don’t think so. They’re very newly formed and don’t have any candidates anywhere afaik.
Making big claims about “50000 members” but you can’t even sign up as a member yet - it’s all just an annual payment funnel.
I do think they’ll become more relevant come May and onwards to the next GE though

So Jeremy Clarkson is apparently wanting to run as a Restore candidate in Doncaster. As this guy points out, he’d probably have a good chance of winning on name-recognition and nostalgia alone.
Thankfully, I very much doubt Restore will have any other star candidates pulled out of a bag, but frankly even one Restore MP is one too many

Again - wouldn't be too sure about that. Clarkson is exactly the profile of candidate they seek to field.
Here's his speech at the launch of Restore as a political party a few days ago. I'm not mad keen about posting this tbh, but here it is. He speaks well and will appeal to many people for different reasons. It's a credible threat I reckon, hopefully it will burn out but it's giving me the heebiejeebies ugh

I have not voted reform yet but I was thinking about it like I have with other parties. I actually voted green last time but it was before the insane leader. Shan't be voting for them again.

The right wing press and political parties lump virtually all irregular immigration under the “illegal immigrant” tag but that is not true legally.
Which is why I wonder what you personally regard as illegal immigration.
People on those dingys or stowaways in lorrys. Less so the ones that came here legally but overstayed a visa.

Those would be asylum seekers. Seeking asylum is most definitely not illegal. Overstaying visas most definitely is illegal so that should really be your focus if going by legal status.
Asylum seekers? Absolutely. That’s totally legal and in fact obligated by international law. Overstaying visas is certainly illegal though and those people I have no problem deporting.

So paying traffickers and coming into the country via the channel ( no port checks like the rest of us do) is not illegal?? I think you'll find it is..no xenophobia
