Drug designs. (MedicinalUser SAR thread)


I got this idea based on a hybrid of butyrophenone antipsychotics and fluvoxamine although it doesn't have a name at this point in time.

Bear in mind version 1 was just a standard butyrophenone like on haloperidol and version to was a pimozide side chain.

This is third generation design. That's the new design though, I already drew the other two molecules before.

These are the other 2 designs based on clovoxamine and caproxamine.

Remember this is for theophylline. On top of that the other agents are based on theobromine.

Nice Design, but keep in mind that it could cause Akathisia. That's why it's better to focus on Low Potency Neuroleptics because they're much more tolerable to the body. I would suggest looking at Chlorpromazine to base your next Design on. Either that or look at Atypical Antipsychotics such as Clozapine for your next Design.
