Will i see a decent government before i die?

So true, these lot can say what they like as they will never have enough power to see their words through into action.

When Dame Andrea Jenkyns (Reform Council member was on Jeremy Vine on Channel 5 alongside Zack Polanski (Leader of Green Party) having a debate she said he wanted to make all drugs legal, she turned around & said "Well you want to make all drugs legal, even Heroin!!!!! The whole nation will turn into Zombies" which made me laugh.

The logic of people like her when faced with this policy is how terrible it will be, everyone will all of a sudden start smoking Heroin!!!!!
My Mom who HATES all "drugs" will all of a sudden be very eager to see what it's about & start having a toot, my mates Nan will be going out to buy freebase DPT & start smoking it all night & God knows what will happen when the kids start shooting pure MDPV into their veins!!!!!

You can tell so much about a person in the way they react when they hear the word "Drugs"
The Jeremy Kyle show was the best, so many guests would come out with that classic line "His on the drugs Jeremy"

Isn't it funny how society didn't collapse when morphine, heroin, opium, cocaine and cannabis were freely available in every corner pharmacy in the late 19th/early 20th centuries?

Until that pesky Harry J Anslinger got involved...

Reform seem to have a real issue with "drugs"
Most of the UK will end up on a benzo script & possibly shooting huge doses of ketamine just to get through the day if those lot get into power.

IN The USA I really wanted Trump to win & was so glad when he did, not for the fact I agree with much of what he says it was down to "The Chaos Theory" he brings, how many world leaders have we had who go on live TV & say about the president of Columbia as "A horrible man, a very horrible and sick man who loves making cocaine" Trump is like nobody in the whole history of The USA, I like him because his NOT been schooled like all the other lot, he just says stuff like when Covid was around he went on live tv telling people to inject bleach & a woman did it & died LMFAO.

You ever gonna see Kier on TV saying " Dick Schoof is a sick man who likes to let shops openly sell drugs & any sexual desire is for sale 24/7. The man is horrible & his country is a shit hole of drugs & perverts" for example? I could see Trump saying it though no question.

100% with you on this one, hard facts & truth right here that people like Farage cannot accept.

Can you imagine having kids as customers if you were selling the dark? They would be worse than the homeless beggar types who come to you for two items at £15 & they have it all in change, they stink & stand there with a can of cider shouting as they count it out & act shocked they only have £13.80.
 
Some of my former colleagues were shocked at what British pharmacies used to sell OTC.

They would 'never' take those substances. They couldn't get their head around the fact that these were considered medicines and not 'drugs'.

Then they'd neck a tramadol.

I don't dislike the Greens outside of their current campaign, but it's hard to get it through to some that if 'Hannah the plumber' (never just Hannah) gets elected, that's five MPs for the Greens, which is the same number as the DUP. Even the Lib Dems currently have 67 more MPs.

Yeah it's clearly a font that mimics handwriting. No idea what it's called, but I've seen similar before.

And also clearly not written by who it purports to be.

Which again clearly shows Reform to be dishonest. Surely that mailshot is very poorly misjudged, and could turn some undecided people against them.

I honestly dearly hope that Hannah the plumber wins that seat for The Greens. I'd be fascinated to read and hear about how they run a constituency seat that they have been elected to be in charge of.

It may or may not be a shame that the UK cant do what the USA does, where each state has it's own laws on various substances and drugs. Imagine if all drugs were legalised in Gorton and Denton, I can't say that I think that would go well if that were to happen, if I'm being honest! There's too much deprivation in that ward, and it would be a disaster! Nothing like decriminalising weed in California way before most other states did.

yeah they aren't going to change the country any time very soon, but every MP counts, even if it only takes them from four to five, if Hannah gets elected. At least they'd have some local control, and would be able to implement and trial some of their ideas. For better or worse.

Depending which ones they pick, could definitely be for the better imo.
 
Patricia obviously has a special deal with publishers in Feltham.

I'd vote (and might still vote) Green, but they've still not been around, even when the 'hundreds' of campaigners were around here. Took plenty of photos for social media though.

They've sent two leaflets, and they've both been 'vote us or get Reform', along with policies they'd need a parliamentary majority to enact. It's disingenuous at best, cynical at worst.

Although 'Hannah the Plumber' has obviously been given a makeover budget.
 
Greens came round. Guy was sound. They have a new bar chart now.

I'm actually considering a vote for them now. It'll be the first time I haven't voted Labour since I voted Communist in my teens. I'm sure that if Labour do rally, I'm only taking one vote away.

My only concern is that we have a massive Muslim population who may be put off Greens because of some of their more progressive social policies and split the vote.

From what I’ve heard of the recent file dump, there is some involvement of underage boy raping… but does seem like more of a sideline than a main course.

Tbh I think the paedo aspect is obviously (and rightly) getting the headlines, but the schmoozing and sleaze aspect is barely touched upon. These guys weren’t just noncing for kicks, they were hardcore networking :\

I was wondering what Mandleson was getting out of the friendship with Epstein, leaking vital key info etc.

But for some reason I didn't think Mandleson would be involved in that kind of thing. If true, it may be hard to prove, now that Epstein is long since dead.

Labour have pissed off a lot of voters by blocking Burnham, but now Reform have also fucked up big time, so the Labour or Reform vote is harder to call than ever now.

Only The Greens seem to not have gone majorly wrong anywhere.

Makes them the least bad option. They could possibly even be good.

Govts have lost most of their wealth and power to billionaires - a lot of them believe the faster democracy collapses the sooner they can set up dictatorships and stop being fucked about cos poor people have the vote.
