I’m a former BlueLight user from back in the 2010s when etizolam was popular, so I figured I’d come here for some advice.
I’m a paraplegic with severe peripheral neuropathy due to a genetic nerve disease. The worst of it is in my legs and lower back. It’s the kind of nerve pain that even high doses of gabapentin barely touch. I found kratom around 2018 after moving to Texas (I had experimented with it before but Alabama had banned it). I was looking for something to help the pain that Gabapentin wasn’t touching, and I found that kratom worked really well. For 5+ years, I was taking extracts, mainly OPMS Gold (4-5 capsules a day).
About a year ago, 7OH really started hitting the market, and it worked even better. Since then, I’ve been taking about 200 mg total per day of 7OH, along with 1-2 kratom extract caps. About a 2 years ago I got COVID, and my doctor considered me “high risk” due to childhood asthma, so he prescribed the COVID antiviral. Unfortunately, it also caused a precipitated withdrawal from kratom. I spent about two days in bed with the worst restless legs and anxiety I’ve ever experienced. And this was before I touched 7OH.
All that to say, 7OH is likely going to be banned at some point, and I want to be proactive. Does anyone have advice on the best way to get off? I can handle flu-like symptoms, digestive issues, and general malaise, but I absolutely cannot handle the extreme RLS and anxiety. When I accidentally detoxed, gabapentin and muscle relaxers didn’t even come close to touching it and I didn’t sleep for days. I’ve since gotten off gabapentin, but I still have an active prescription, so I do have a stockpile of that and methocarbamol, though they didn’t help much last time. I’ve tried tapering, but even that causes pretty gnarly RLS.
I’m open to RCs (though I’ve away from them for so long I am not familiar with good sources), meds, supplements, and any other tools available to help. Do yall have any good advice for how to go about it?
