hydroxyzine to go into delirium?

this is gonna sound fucking mentally ill but i was considering hydroxyzine as a substitute for benadryl since its an antihistamine so would this work? people smarter than me please inform on if its hatman level or just straight claritin level

Yes, they are very closely related. Hydroxyzine (Vistaril) does pretty much everything that Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) does, but with less-often-reported anticholinergic side effects. This is why Hydroxyzine is often given for anxiety. It is a mild sedative, which acts in a psychsomatic way to convince people that they are calm. Pretty much any sedating drug can produce this effect.

The same delirium will be produced through extremely high dosages. This is not necessarily a safe practice my friend. Delirium induced by sedating antihistamines can come with seizures.
