Could Soma and Gabapentin be safely used together recreationally?

Or would it just be dumb/pointless? I understand they are both depressants which is risky.

Thanks

They can generally be used together in smaller than usual doses or in someone tolerant to one or both. But be careful, and start with a significantly lower dose of each than normal, because central nervous system and respiratory depressant effects may be additively or synergistically increased by taking these 2 drugs together. Taking them both together could also possibly increase the risk of other side effects. The drugs do have slightly different effects, but whether or not you would find it "pointless" is a very subjective question. Carisoprodol (Soma)'s effects are: analgesia, anxiolysis, muscle relaxation, sedation, drowsiness, mild euphoria. Gabapentin's effects are: analgesia (particularly for neuropathic pain), possibly some/limited anxiolysis, anticonvulsant, possibly some sedation/drowsiness, possibly limited/mild antidepressant. Also of course different people are affected differently by these drugs. I have never taken them together myself.

I personally hate neurontin, I almost fell asleep driving on that shit. But to answer your question, they can be safely used together, I was scribed both by my neurologist. As for pointless...I'd rather eat two benadryl with my somas than eat neurontin.

Both the gabapentin and carisopridol work on your gaba receptors, so yes, there is increased risk.

^ actually the mechanism of action for gabapentin has yet to be discovered. But anyways, yes the two together are a very nice combo, especially for anxiety, general mental tension, and light analgesia. I've never had a problem with being over sedated but I have extremely high tolerance to both agents. It is both effective recreationally, and first and foremost therapeutically if your nerve pain isn't too bad.
What doses will you be taking? Be sure to asses gabapentin fully before using a lot as it can induce some tremors and blurred vision. Avoid the Soma Shakes as well, you are aware of those correct?

They both depress the CNS, so combining them can significantly increase the chances of excessive sedation, poor coordination, memory blackouts, slowed breathing, and overdose, especially without medical supervision. I personally take Neurontin (gabapentin) as prescribed and it works well for its intended purpose, but that’s very different from stacking it with another depressant just to see what happens. Don’t mix them for recreation. If you’re already on gabapentin, stick to using it as directed, and if you’re dealing with pain, anxiety, or sleep issues, talk to a doctor about safer, controlled options rather than experimenting on your own.

Of course, it is essential to use only high-quality Neurontin (gabapentin), which is why I order my Neurontin (gabapentin) from this trusted online pharmacy: nutriva.biz/neurontin-gabapentin. They always have the best quality, and I am very pleased with the results!

Carisoprodol (Soma) is a strange drug. It is a sedative, yes, but it can also cause convulsions in high doses. It is not widely known, but Gabapentinoids are capable of producing convulsions in higher-than-prescribed dosages also. I would just be congnizant ot the potential for unwanted body movement, myoclonus or even worse if high doses are used. If you´re using reasonable doses, you really shouldn´t have a problem. Be aware that the combination will likely synergize, giving you potentially more potent effects than you might have expected. I highly advise you not to drive or do anything that could get you hurt until you know how the combination will affect you.

be careful with high doses of either and adding other drugs on board. make sure you have someone with you. gabapentin-poly overdoses cause (Ataxia) or loss of muscle coordination, inability to walk or support weight. Unable to use the hands to dial "911" because of the tremors. Unable to use the hands, fingers, legs, and unable to speak normally.

I hear they are scheduling Gabapentin in a few states . There are people in the chronic pain community being tapered off Gabapentin left and right . Seems the dementia risk is extremely high in this drug. Some are cheering doctors taking them off ,because it harms instead of helps many but some are freaking out because it was helping .

I have a Rx for it and it is now scheduled and pharmacies are limited to how much they can order per month based on monthly capital. Pharmacies will not fill it if they do not have room on their board for new customers/patients.
