I just moved to LV, I want to continue the lifestyle, but I am super low-key and very casual. I only partake every few weeks/months. How do you suggest making connections when you are new to town?

@NewGuy702 - hey whatsup G

This looks more in line with what is in the acceptable gray area, if I'm being honest, only saying so since you did the right thing by deleting the other version.

But just a blunt reminder - BL isn't a website to source drugs.

Have a blast dude, I mean I've been in cities a lot and in general, it's not necessarily taboo to even straight up ask someone.

If you ask someone "are you a cop", they legally have to identify.
Thanks, don't want to break any rules but also want to avoid the strip... read bad things.

Well the good news is that's a good city to cop in, I'd take that bet over most other cities.

But yeah I'd honestly suppress the inner moth and try to find some type of underground rave scene but obviously that's hard to do being new.

Possibly just a bar that's a bit out of the way.

The key to cold copping is building trust and being honest. And only you know how to be that type of person, right.

Hey OP!

This doesn´t really fit in the Harm Reduction forums, as it is not a thread concerned with anyone´s personal safety or information regarding drugs. This would be better suited to Drug Culture. However, you have to be aware that Bluelight is not to be used for selling or acquiring drugs. As has been mentioned in the thread already, this could be considered in a ¨gray area¨, but I will leave that to the moderators over in that section to decide.

I always start with talking to people about weed.

Once they help you with a hook up with that you can ask the weed guy etc etc

And if you get no where'd are desperate offering a finders fee can usually help. It's amazing how much harder people will try then.

Ive had luck cruising and looking for someone who seems to have no where to go during the day (homeless/drifter types) hanging at a park or something (or someone begging for $ at an intersection) Ask if they are hungry, offer to buy em some food. And after interacting with them enough to see they aren't absolutely insane you may have a new friend who really appreciates your generosity.

Please DO NOT believe this misinformation. It’s been out there for years but is completely false, an undercover cop can indeed deny being a police officer.

Yeah looks like you're right. I have removed that from the post.

Thanks / sorry

I'm in the same boat and it's a pain in the ass. I'd think in Vegas people are used to tourists so asking a rando probably not that uncommon.

Wow, you guys are all in luck. Yours truly is now a full-fledged Sin City Citizen. I´m not being at all rude, just straightforward. If you´re having a real issue finding Methamphetamine in this city, you just don´t have a developed sense of how to buy drugs in a strange place period, as I have seen people smoking it behind the bus stop, had a guy try to sell me some outside my AA meeting and half of my clients at the shelter are at least ¨regular¨ users of the drug. I don´t know because they told me. Some told me, but the majority are just so clearly tweaking/affected by tweaking in a clear physical way; it just seems highly prevalent here.

In New England, it was really all about Fentanyl/Crack when I left. There were pockets of Methamphetamine users. If I were to make an estimate out of left field, 5-6 years ago was the twilight of a major upsurge in Methamphetamine use. At that time, I would say Meth was almost equal in the drug market to both Cocaine/Fentanyl. Now it´s probably not more than 5%-10% of the total commerce. Methamphetamine is notoriously cheap and easy to produce. However, it is also significantly less economical than Crack. I think the people in our area decided Meth was not worth the trouble.

Seriously though, it´s everywhere. The users are visible by their behavior, tell-tale stereo-locomotion, pallor and unhealthy appearance. No offense guys. I wasn´t fixing to be on the cover of GQ when I was injecting 3 grams of Heroin a day.

@Robi it´s not really sourcing if it´s basically a cultural phenomenon. They called it Tina back in Boston. That was the term that the LGBT community used for it. Fun fact, for most of my childhood and early adulthood, Methamphetamine was not a thing in Boston. It was known that the Gay community used it though.

I was slow,I was thinking connecting with people lol, also just my personal experience on how I met people ,whoops!

In New York before 2017 meth was seldomly around. The gays had it and it definitely took knowing the right people to find it
.nowadays it's virtually everywhere
