PC PC Gamers - Whatcha playin?

Any AMD gpu sucks, schizopath. I know parts ain't cheap given the daily struggle to survive with the same shit you buy everyday but the rebranded Intel Sparkle B580 eats the 9060 alive. The tiny 2-4% fps difference the founder stock B580 suffers is mostly from forced engine optimization. Their X3D cpu's are relatively capable but even here is kinda squeaky. The big yawn being enormous cache but doesn't help much in performance. Also AMD gpu's are at their peak form with Pro drivers rather than "Adrenaline Gaming"

Nowadays games ain't about this but brute force. 9060 is a negative choice as the 3090 destroys it but also 5060. Point being, depending, on region, the Intel is about 200 to 230ish EUR less than 9060.

Also really ok for 4K

Minecraft almost all while listening to YouTube.

If I keep dying and lose my death location too often I start a new world. Much like in the real world, where I prefer to start something new rather than finish something old most of the time.

I have killed the Ender Dragon years ago in a much earlier version.

I like to talk with children about Minecraft, because it's something we both understand.

I tend to do the same kind of things in game after game and I always play alone.

Also AMD gpu's are at their peak form with Pro drivers rather than "Adrenaline Gaming"

there is no more pro driver.

when there was a pro driver, the user mode driver optimizations were focused on workstation applications so at best there was no benefit for games over consumer driver.

also the 9060 is at parity with the 5060. that's the whole reason nVidia ended up having to lower the 5060 price. there was a price delta with no value delta.

and the B580 still lags behind 9060 by a wide margin on most titles -

the closest real competitor to 9060 XT is the 5060 Ti, which is ~$100 more

Sure, the 5060 is not turning his back to the wave. You must understand that AMD abandoned the GPU gaming market and whole reason why only 7900 series and previous were hollow shells towards a potential reinvention. Their a kid of nVidia and their whole mechanic technique is a rebranded nvidia libraries. DirectX also sucks on these cards, I remember back when I had a 660Ti and OC just to give a fatality to 7970(Had a slightly advantage of 20fps at most iirc, seen in STALKER and FEAR 3...

Not to mention my OC 980Ti made a RX 6600 sweat.. I still keep it as a memory with all thermal pads changed and waterblock cleaned. I keep it in a shitty drawer but is safe from sky birds!

One thing I have to say about AMD is that, is the only brand of GPU where a user took initiative to mod drivers so their more stable(Pro) and also trolling rookies by installing K-Lite Mega Codecs lol. =)))) Also personal experience, tested on a RX 6600 with official Pro drivers, the fps and shader loading was improved by large and also lowered CPU overhead since the cpu was active and gpu meh

No, say what you want. AMD will forever be the poor man computer for a reason. Isnt about price but quality. Is like installing a old tube monitor with a soundbar and blu ray ;)

What's sad is this.

Most saliva droolings on YT "tech" channels are payed by AMD and partly happened that nvidia was paying attention not paying, but taking down some videos back on the first driver updates of the 5000 series. Big difference

So therefore my friend, is your life after all. Their whole revenue come from the fact that is a truth that by owning a PC in this age & era is more or less a luxury. They would be more competitive if they'd go back to gaming evolved contextuality, at least back in 2010's they tried their best shot at nvidia by utilizing the last breath of ATI(7990).

the 780ti crushed the market and skull of ATI.

Overall my point being. Having a CAD field or gaming area, is nearly impossible to come close to nvidia. Hence why even I hope that maybe Intel can be a fierce rival. AMD finally admited to be defeated. Read online, you have net, use it for culture interest

and that rx 6600 I wanted to sold it out on the web for 100EUR and in less than 24hrs since I had the lowest price on the site but there was a unplanned mercy act

I gave it to a kid, yeah. So it was a 21ish losing time and sight and told myself bro.. I get it, shitty school time no money and awful workplace( he was a car mechanic) novice yet. All for free+ a Lian-Li case i had bc I wanted to build a rig for my kids but I ended up giving them half to buy a quality MSI laptop. I even told them, you want money, work! I can help but... you too ;)

I finally bought a nice 24" 200hz 1080p monitor for my gaming computer and I'm enjoying it a lot. What a difference it makes over my 22" 60hz monitor. Gonna setup a dual monitor at some point if I can get some more airflow into my current tower. My old i5-8600k is struggling with newer games and I'm still running an RTX 2060 so even with extra ram I'm getting some slow downs. Hoping I can overclock them both with a cooler setup, more fans and such.

Been playing RE2 and RE3 remakes off of steam a lot. Never played the originals on PS1 or ported versions so it's a barrel of fun for me. I think I enjoy playing Claire more than Lyon because her grenade launcher just fucks them lickers up so good. Too bad the flame rounds are so limited.

It actually was! I do own the collector edition of ME Catalyst. It happens that I kept it sealed and just bought the Steam key instead of ripping it open.

Ah yes it was one of a kind game, especially for the 2010's, most likely, a progressive symbol for the gaming industry.

both games are top-notch. The 2nd one is more intense on the hardware and ironically you should play it only if you have 12GB RAM+.

Some games back then even with a custom pagefile back had exceed the 8GB ram min/rec setup long due.

also a quad-core and 3GB GPU is a minimum too.

Is what is.. it was indeed very advanced at the date it was released. Probably the most demanding games of the mid 2010's.

so it was one of those nights where I spend my time just fuckin about and doing blah blah. Guess what, I've launched up my Steam account, and fired up F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin! Man, does it hold up, it does.. all it needs is the mousefix and the startup video removal that are available on Nexus Mods. So around 30m in, I couldn't help but notice some ancient gameplay techniques, but at the same time completely fresh and independent from the pile of shooters out that are out there, graphics on 1440p is amazing, is my fav.resolution because I cannot stand 4K unless i'm watching something related to cinematography. What sucks though and this is the ugly side, is the 60fps lock. We should get more as we can get more peak advantage by using 144Hz.
