My doctor let me try oxycodone for savage nerve pain from transverse myelitis or inflammation of the spinal cord. He neglected to advise me about the gabapentin and baclofen which I also take. Google tells me that I will OD and die if I take all 3 meds even if I space them out. It's Friday night and I don't want to wait till Monday to contact my doctor. I have a very high tolerance from years of hydrocodone but I'm scared. Do y'all really think I shouldn't take all my meds? Is it that dangerous? Thanks in advance for any input.

That's absolute BS! I take Oxycodone and Pregabalin in high doses and I'm completely fine and I'm confident other people will say the same thing. So I'm sure your good to go!
 
Do you like oxycofonr HCl? It's hrlls physically addicting and habit forming, and the psychologivsll addiction I'd nothing yo dnrezr at, either. I still think all drugs should be legalized, though. What about you? Discuss. Debate.

Well those 3 combined can be dangerous. I'm no doctor, but I would advise to remove the baclofen if you're going to be taking any opiod as baclofen can highly potentiate or "make stronger" the oxycodone and with no tolerance or little tolerance to opioids it could possibly result in an overdose. I used to abuse opioids, and I would normally never overdose but the day I got prescribed baclofen and did that with my oxy is the first time I overdosed. The gabapentin and oxy mixed together should be fine but be careful with the baclofen please 🙏.
 
Don't listen to the people saying it isn't dangerous at all, you might be fine yes that's a possibility but there's also a possibility you could overdose. Not many people are too familiar with baclofen or its effects but I am, and I know what it can do when mixed with any opiod painkiller like oxy or hydrocodone in the right doses. So all I'm saying is please be careful, and if you're going to take all 3 then make sure it's in the exact prescribed amount. Peace ✌️.

I have a high tolerance from taking hydrocodone for 10 years. 6 tablets per day and the baclofen too with no problem so far.

I've taken baclofen and hydrocodone since 2015 when the transverse myelitis struck me down. The baclofen in particular is necessary for the exceedingly painful electric spasms in my right leg. Everyone in my transverse myelitis group takes baclofen and most also take an opioid. I appreciate your concern and gentle warning too.
 
ive been taking baclofen & hydromorphone for about 2 yrs..i often wonder if its safe to mix even though its low dose. chica...how many baclofens do you take ? i can take up to 30mg a day but ive never gone over that amount.
 
At a long term tolerant patient with chronic pain due to RA ….I’ll say, a properly formulated/customized hybrid oral Brompton Cocktail 🍸

Oxycodone (Oxy-IR 5/10/20mg) scored tablets
Pregabalin 300-450mg in a fasted state (1h C-max) vs 4h after heavy meal
Diazepam 10mg - potent anxiolytic & muscle relaxant
Alprazolam 1mg - Potent anxiolytic + mood-boosting & antidepressant properties
Ritalin (Methylphenidate) 20mg X 2-3 tablets. Safe & effective robust Dopaminergic stimulant with identical MOA as Cocaine and actually compete for the same binding sites at the dopamine transporter

All tablets and capsules pulverized into fine powder……add 1.oz of HOT water to dissolve everything in milky white solution….add 1/3 cup sweet orange juice to mask bitter tast……..drink and in 30min onset will gradually creep in. 45min to 1 hour I’m melted to touch having Gin cocktails and relaxing pain free with SIGNIFICANT mood-boosting effects and a warm blanket of familiar Euphoria and psychological relief, mental stress relief

There should be nothing inherently dangerous provided you are taking responsible dosages of each. In fact, they should synergize to provide more pain relief. You certainly don´t need to worry about dying. I´d say that the worst case scenario would be getting a bit more groggy than you would have liked.

if you ever have questions about your medications the best move is to ask your pharmacist. theyre specifically trained to answer these sorts of questions
