Does anyone have experiences with HCL - C (powder) being laced with fentanyl or benzes causing over doses? I work in at the addictions field and have seen people overdose smoking side .. which is not cocaine, its meth but im sure lacing of drugs doesn't discriminate.. and they're smoking it not sniffing it.. I just don't see a lot of cocaine OD's in my field im assuming because its too expensive for this community to afford.. but I'm sure it happens?

It happens but it seems pretty uncommon/almost unheard of. One example that comes to mind is recently in NZ(my country) there was fentanyl laced cocaine and there was news articles about it to raise public awareness of a bad batch going around a certain area of the country. A dozen people were hospitalized with fentanyl overdoses(or maybe not OD but just surprise fent dosing and being precautious). Thing is, opiate/heroin usage is extremely low here - very low. Fent is unheard of outside of dying in hospital. We don't have an opiate problem like the states does, so for fent to be in cocaine was super out of the ordinary.

Fentanyl is a cheap fill-in for good/real opiates/downers. Putting it in uppers doesnt really make sense from any point of view - so when it happens its no doubt the majority of the time a mistake and just from bad handling like the scales used to measure out fent based drugs is then used to measure out cocaine/meth without being cleaned. Or a baggy lying around that had fent drugs in it gets reused.

Also stimulants are just generally(in my experience) more pure. I've seen some dodgy as fuck heroin for example that just looks like rust chipped off old nails and taste diabolical but most meth and cocaine i've seen has been high quality stuff.
