She told me that to be effective antipsychotics they should be in high doses but at low doses they act like partial agonists
Suggest to her not to give you any antipsychotics. You can see people suffering from it in this thread.STRONGLY suggest to her to give you full dopamine agonists. Cabergoline is the most effective. And vyvanse is also effective,it helped people out.

@Trueart2 whad to you think about?

Suggesting a psychiatrist not to give you any antipsychotics means she has no job to do. Telling her that 9/10 isn’t going to go anywhere for you and will probably only land yourself onto a mental/physical list of patients refusing medication which will get you put on a treatment over objection order.( Where they give you injections bc you have no say anymore. In the past forums all people reported was dopamine agonists making their situation many times worse than it actually was before, but as of recent I’ve seen a small onslaught of people champions Vynase or whatever it’s called.

Just don’t tell her you won’t take antipsychotics, that’ll only make you a threat to her workplace security.

I will just say again asking directly for vyvanse will probably not go anywhere. In America it is a schedule 2 drug because it is an amphetamine, here going to doctors and asking for a stimulant with no symptoms of adhd outright could get you noted down as drug seeking

@RisperdalConsta50mg

Granted you aren’t American nor do you live in america

Went and seen my GP today and discussed medical weight loss… I was hoping she would prescribe me duromine but she didn’t lol. Instead she gave me a prescription for contrave/ bupropion. Anyone here had bupropion/wellbutrin/zyban before? I pick up my script in 3 days, shit was expensive af

Expensive? It's been out here for ages in Canada and is covered. Never really helped me just gave me anxiety

Fuck i just found the cure: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24052066
carbamazepine this reduce amount of drug in the blood like 40-60 precent, to those in 4-6 months this could be huge, why not more people try that?

Probably because the side effects are fucking hell. I took it oce for nerve pain and had a migraine for 2 weeks after i stopped the drug

Guys I think I found the solution with carbamazepine I'm going to try get prescription. Man if i could have a bit of relief I'm going to travel in Europe and have the time of my life. I'm tired of this dopamine hell.

No antipsychotics would make it worse for him. He can convince her to give him full agonists instead of partial ones which are antipsychotics. He has already gone through several months of pain like us. Making matters worse would not help him.

Invegatoture is taking vyvanse. There are doctors than can give this drug and she already suggest dopamine and serotonin agonists.

Yes, antipsychotics are innapropriate and harmful to most patients, Psychiatrists force people to take them with no concern for the harms or outcomes of the patient.

This is extremely true.
It's not. This doctor is different. She want him to do a PET scan, the actual test that shows brain damage. Other doctors rejected him and this one actually wants to helps. Taking antipsychotics would make matters worse. He should avoid that at all cost.

It also says in the national library of medicine that dopamine agonists can be used to treat the effects of antipsychotics

I said before I’m taking vyvanse too I have a prescription… it’s not easy to get, from what I understand invegatorture bought a few capsules off of someone else. Here to get a prescription you need to meet with a doctor in person (no telehealth) and get evaluated for ADHD, and then they determine whether or not stimulants are a viable treatment for you. And even after that, because of laws you can only get one months script at a time because of its high abuse potential. It’s also an expensive drug which no one mentions

It is one of the most affective stimulant. He can suggest it since he's going through severe brain damage caused by the antipsychotic injection.

Don’t go around spreading false news buddy. An antipsychotic can definitely make his situation worse. Just because he hasn’t had his symptoms resolved doesn’t mean he has nothing to lose.

This is akin to saying someone who has long-COVID has nothing to lose if they get sick

Edit: I reread your message. I agree taking more antipsychotic can potentially worsen his state.
