There appear to be two versions of this story. I've posted the one that suggests that either crack was unusually pure and/or the crack was adulterated with an as yet unidentified compound. Other sources say it's just very strong crack.

Now years ago someone retold a story in which they and their brother want to buy a weight of methamphetamine and not unreasoably wanted to taste the product before buying. The brother did a line and immediatly had a seizure. In that case a cathinone was being misrepresented as methamphetamine.

So while no instrumental data is available yet, does anyone know if strong crack would do this and/or is crack being adulterated with some sort of 'Bath Salts'?

And regarding the article, the thing that has me scratching my head is the "aggression" part. It implies that all 5 of them felt aggression when waking up. I have had a seizure smoking it which they list as well, but the intensity difference between coke and crack, to me, is the extreme euphoria. Id never smoke crack to do a task, so I didn't even have a chance to get aggressive about anything.

But, they woke up aggressive, I don't know, could be angry that their shit caused them to OD, mad at the seller and themselves for doing it? I don't know.

Or maybe others here on BL understand the aggression part?

Well, that's the thing. I really don't know anyone who uses crack so have only seen it used a few times. But while users could be somewhat intense, I don't recall anyone suddenly being aggreaasive or being subject to seizures, for that matter.

But recently a few people have mentioned a couple of the most potent cathinones turning up an I know they can cause seizures and given that they are DRIs, I wondered if combined with cocaine, the sheer levels of extracellular dopamine could trigger psychotic breaks in users?

The other and far-less-likely-but-possible active cut coud be BTPC which I am told causes seizures and aggressiona and imortantly, has a very steep dose-response curve. I recall someone who was asked to find an appropriate dose and they noted that going from 60mg to 65mg made a massive difference to the subjective experience. I will GUESS this is why it never really became popular but before now I've heard of wierd and wonderful crud turning up misrepresented as something else. Delers HATE to throw even a dangerous drug away. They at least try to recover their costs.
