Zopi was temp banned for going on a bit of a tear in forums outside of EADD. Log was temp banned forโ€ฆ if you know Log you can probably guessโ€ฆ

Both will be back in a few days. Just a wee break to cool off and return in lessโ€ฆ blatant and repeated severe rule violating mood.

For the sake of transparency, Zopiโ€™s ban was for posts made outside of EADD so I canโ€™t really comment on that.

It was me who gave Log a break and given the posts involved Iโ€™d do it again in a heartbeat. Some things are just straight up wrong and completely forbidden on BL.

Zopi and Lins have been having an affair for years. They've managed to keep it on the downlow but it all became too much for Lins when Zopi insisted they get married under the auspices of the ancient, secret, drug-guzzling and violent-fantasy promoting hindu-subversive sect that Zopi is an initiate of.

Lins exploded all over EADD with racist rhetoric aimed squarely at Zopi's "Black Country" roots and Zopi threatened his longterm beau with the suggestion that they "have nothing more to say to each other" and with lurid and frankly sickening suggestions about where Lins should stick his stethescope. This was all ok but became intolerable for Shambles when they both rounded on him (when all he was trying to do was mediate, bless 'im) and threatened him with a good haggis-rogering (because Sham would have really preferred a Leek not a haggis)

(SO I'VE HEARD ANYWAY - don't shoot the mesenger)
 
@Zopiclone bandit seems to have been on his best 'behaviour' in EADD for a considerable time now. I guess there's no one on here pushing his buttons right now, either deliberately or accidentally, and I'm not sure what's happened elsewhere.

I don't think it would be a good idea to speculate.

Hopefully he might want to pick up on some of the chats about stoicism that we've had in Gibbering and the youtube thread when he returns.

I'd hate to see bluelight and EADD especially end up being as heavily moderated and censored as the likes of Reddit. But hopefully that won't happen, and if ZB's ban was for a loss of temper type post then that's one thing, but hopefully it's nothing to do with any of his anecdotes about his drug use etc. Which is obviously what this is supposed to be at least in part, a 'safe place' for.

Regarding LNS, if it's about not being PC enough, then he's maybe going to keep pushing at those boundaries. I am against heavy moderation and censorship, but I guess for the overall harmony of things, there's certain limits that have to be drawn. I wouldn't like to be a moderator on here, it's probably a thankless job, and you're probably going to get loads of criticism, whether friendly and good natured or not, about the decisions you have to make.

I got pulled up for a comment, Shambles in his comment about my ban & what I did isn't true but his allowed to say as he feels & how he wants to call it.
It was Foreigner of all people who gave me the "holiday" but it came at a good time in a way, I have had real issues trying to score & I have spent most of the day waiting on a call to go out to pick up, my stepdad is getting even worse with his Hodgkin lymphoma (blood cancer) & I had to help my mom do daily tasks as she has horrific Rheumatoid Arthritis & without her medicine is to be blunt a virtual cripple, I been doing daily tasks for her & dealing with the dog too as the cold weather has a real bad impact on her & makes her unable to do basic tasks like picking up dog shit, open cans etc.

Between waiting hours to score so I can function & be able to help my mom, dealing with family issues linked to my stepdad on the verge of death I have been quite a busy lad, my holiday from here came at a good time tbh.

I'd not really put myself upon such a pedestal in the way of being the life & soul of EADD, talk about a poisoned chalice. I am just a human like everyone else but I call things just as they are, I don't put lipstick on a pig & tell the raw truth on things, some people seem to have a real issue with the way I refuse to polish a turd.

This upset him very much & he tried to take legal action against the author, his legal case didn't hold up any weight & was tossed out of court, he spent the rest of his life posting online against any worship of Chinnamasta or any of The 10 Tantric Mothers, I laughed so hard when I heard this.
