Opioids Is it possible to smoke methadone?

I don’t take methadone but I’m curious if it vaporizes the way that oxy and heroin etc. does. I always thought it was a trip how at the clinic you could get 100mg+ a day and for the opioid naive that is 10-20+ doses. I am kinda struggling with what you are asking. Is your question just about different preparations of pharmaceuticals?

I have been on low dose oxycodone. Prescribed after I nearly died almost a decade ago. I nearly died before 40. Alcohol abuse. Bad. Liver and pancreas damage.
My drugs are pharmaceutical and legally and legitimately prescribed. No, acetaminophen or Tylenol. Doctors orders

I am thinking of lowering my use gradually. I stopped taking morphine 24/7 for ~6 years. The pain was gone and no reason to take the morphine. I lessened my benzo intake. Taper and comfort meds and nothing. I did find one a few months later and saved it for a headache. Opiods are not my DOC.

I am now allergic to alcohol, seriously.

They thought I was going to die in a year. So warnings and such really didn't matter. Year after year, I am alive.

Hey to the OP, if you´re referring to vaporizing Methadone tablets on foil, then I have to admit that I have no idea. I know people have vaporized other pills like Oxycodone. I´ve never heard of such a thing and you´d be a bit of a pioneer. If you´re looking for a faster onset, rectal administration hits Tmax at 1.5 hours vs 3 hours on average, so, twice as quickly essentially. The duration is not significantly effected either. If you have Methadone liquid, it´s ready to administer, tablets, just mix with water.

@Jnowhere you need to learn how to perform a Cold Water Extraction. You also need to learn about Volumetric Dosing. These are the two keys to answering your specific problems. A CWE removes easily all of the Acetaminophen from your tablets. Volumetric dosing will allow you to make extremely minute decreases in your dosage using the solution you´ve prepared from your CWE.

100mg X 15 doses (as you said it's between 10-20) is 6.66666666667mg.

Yeah as I read their post it became increasingly apparent they were talking about levomethadone, not the racemic mixture you get at the clinic or pretty much anywhere else which is about 26x weaker.

The methadone that you get from the pharmacy is hydrochloride salt of its free base. Whether it syrup or wafers

In order to smoke, well... really vaporize it. You would need some obtain lab grade ammonium hydroxide, not the shit from Home Depot cuz it has surfactants . That will liberate the free base molecule from its hcl bond, then all left to do is elute into carrier solvent like Chloroform or ether. Lastly, reflux solvent freebase with AC until any discoloration. Then distill off solvent and it will crash out, probably about halfway through and continue to do so until it's a fine, off-white, fluffy powder.

Load yer meff puffer and it's hammer time.

methadone is a good opioid to speedball with. And a much better drug if you're not opiate tolerant.

If you're having trouble getting off of it, get you some SR 17018. I Kicked an 80mg daily habit with 3 g's in 15 days NO withdrawal

Hey Kief, yeah I’ve smoked the original M30s briefly in the days before fentanyl. My old roommate used to steal them from her sugar daddy lmao. It was always a treat when she would bring some home. They actually smoke really well. I have a friend that used to say he would smoke hydromorph in the same fashion, though I never tried that. I actually wasn’t directly referring to smoking methadone pills but that has now piqued my interest. I was wondering for lack of better words: could you dry up the methadone liquid and have methadone powder? These are the question that keep me up at night (kidding)
