We're all just cells.

Does anyone else find it soothing to remember that we're just a bunch of cells in motion?
I’ve tried to use it as a “thought exercise” to provide a freedom- in the sense of it ain’t a big deal bro

But it kind of also makes me feel more like a mindless mush, and that conception and perception is a delusion.

Hard to explain but it gets me down a weird dissociative state but that’s just a skill issue.

Some days I don’t mind being a flesh sack, other times it makes many things seem pointless and makes me go “I can’t be asked”

Hell yeah

Also mentally you're not even a guy, the Buddhists got it right according to modern psychology, you're a whole bunch of guys like a town hall arguing with each other you have no free will you're not really in control of yourself completely like a guy walking around, you're more like a guy riding an elephant, an elephant guy, you can tell the elephant which way you'd like it to go and often it will but at the end of the day the elephants just kind of doing its thing. It's way bigger than you and it could kick your ass if it felt like it. So don't give up on life and try to push yourself in a positive direction, but at the end of the day wherever you end up is where you are and radical acceptance is all that really makes sense because none of us really have complete Free Will anyway.

That's my opinion, and I find it strangely soothing as well.

I feel like the statement could be very liberating in one sense or terribly cynical in another
Lots of stuff is like that, I always felt like that in relation to the idea that the universe is so big that me and every other human being is incomprehensibly small and won't actually be able to leave any lasting impression at all that won't be completely wiped away by entropy. Sometimes it freaks me out but usually it makes me feel strangely calm.

I hear ya.

Though there is one thing I heard a spiritual man say recently. Well he's also a doctor, and knows about physics. He said that in a lot of chemical reactions, after about 1% of the substance has changed, the 99% follow very quickly.

For the amount of things we don't know, it brings me solace to believe that things might be more connected and synchronous that they seem. Because if we are so miniature, perhaps we function in a similar way to those reactions.
