Kratom 7-hydroxymitragynine taper, need advice.

Hey @RxVeritas :)

There are some key points to be aware of. The dosage of Gabapentinoids required to manage severe withdrawal are much higher than what might be used to treat nerve pain. This can lead to a severe tolerance to the effects of the drugs building in only just a few days. When I've been sick and gone totally crazy with Pregabalin, I could barely feel anything by day 4 so use wisely.

Utilize the lack of cross-tolerance between the Benzodiazepines and Gabapentinoids. Perhaps go hard with your Pregabalin for 3 days, followed by two days of small doses of Gabapentin (300mg-600mg) and relying heavily on the Benzodiazepines. Don't throw everything at the wall all at once. Be strategic about this.

You will likely have 4 days of pretty shitty symptoms. You will only start to regain your feelings and your happiness after two weeks or so, but these feelings will come in bursts. Use these feelings to motivate you to keep going.

Absolutely, I believe you should consider stepping down onto a low dose of Buprenorphine, (1mg-2mg) for a short while while you get your head straight. You need to get your head straight as the body is just one component of this. Once you are able to live as an adult again and feel you can trust yourself, then taper the Buprenorphine slowly over the course of a month or two. I will teach you volumetric dosing for this purpose if you'd like.

DO NOT START COMPULSIVELY TAKING YOUR COMFORT MEDICATIONS. THEY ARE JUST TOOLS.

Hey man! I’ll be starting 7OH taper myself tomorrow. Do you find the THC vape helps you sleep while tapering? Whenever I’ve tried cutting down I can’t sleep to save my life so I’m eyeing a thc vape just for night time. I’m coming from 350-500mg daily so I’m with you man! Best of luck and keep at it
I vape THC pretty consistently throughout the day, although if I'm trying to get to bed I will definitely go harder with the weed and it does work a bit for me. If you're not vaping all day like me then I would imagine that a vape may help you sleep. I say may because the effects of weed vary a bit from person to person, but I think it will help especially if you can get one that is indica.

Thank you for the advice, I appreciate it very much.

At this point I'm still taking 300-400mg (some days even more, its completely dependent on what job im working at) daily. I'm going to start tapering down again since I have lyrica again and should have suboxone soon. I'm really hoping dude comes through with the suboxone.

I've been taking 300-400mg of 7-hydroxymitragynine daily for the past couple of months. It's too high of a dose, its way too expensive, and I plan on tapering down to somewhere closer to 20-50mg daily.

In order to aid in this process, I've acquired twenty five 200mg lyrica. I also have most of a months worth (90) of 300mg gabapentin which I am prescribed, but lately haven't been taking more than one of a day. I think I have very little physical dependence on the gabapentin, if any.

I am also prescribed clonazepam and have about fifty 2mg pills, but realistically probably need to set aside 30 of them for work days (3 nights a week), meaning I could be liberal with fifteen or twenty of them. My tolerance is fairly high, and depending on the day I will take anywhere from 2mg - 8mg, but on an average day I probably take 3mg - 4mg and have for a few years.

I have taken lyrica before and get pleasant effects at around 375mg - 425mg on which i can still function and appear normal, and a definite high around 600mg - 675mg that I would not be able to go to work on.

I also use disposable THC vapes pretty heavily, but also have cheap and easy access to them.

So, what do think the least painful way to taper down from 300mg to 50mg would be over one or two weeks?

I am currently on 400mg lyrica 150mg 7-hydroxymitragynine and my normal 3mg of klonopin and about to go to work. I redose halfway through work, but will take no more than 150mg, hopefully less depending on how I feel. I do have significant shoulder pain from a 3 year old surgery, which is how I got here.

In your opinion, is cutting down by 30mg per day realistic given the excess of medications that I have on hand? I know everybody is different, but i would especially appreciate the advice of anybody who has attempted to taper 7-hydroxymitragynine down significantly, or quit.

I appreciate your taking the time to read this, and I thank you in advance for anything that you have to say to me.
I have a basic question. I purchased some 30mg 7 oh tablets and was wondering how many mgs should I start with? I have never taken any before but I am definitely not a stranger to opiates.
