my injection was in october of 2024. november and december were the worst. i had to be hospitalised for a while. january was somewhat better. i noticed the anhedonia lift slightly around that time. by may i was able to smoke 90% thc carts and feel just fine. keep in mind though, i only had one injection and never took another AP again.Thats good to hear, how about first 3 months was it fully blank? I took two injections so it should be later than you, and why did you get injection? Too me 9 months to recover from invega. 2 injections.Anybody recovered and be themself truely after 6 months or something? We are all in pain
Fully recovered? You had every symptom gone?Too me 9 months to recover from invega. 2 injections.
i was prescribed a very low dose of olanzapine pills for my bipolar disorder, so i do not have schizophrenia. i did not take the olanzapine, i actually threw it away when i got home. i was then sent to the psych ward by my own psychiatrist after telling her i felt suicidal since someone close to me in life passed away. in the hospital they looked up my medication history and saw olanzapine. they did a test and saw i had zero amounts of olanzapine in my system, only weed at the time. so they told me that they know i haven't been taking my meds and that they have a solution. take this injection so that you never have to worry about taking pills. i was promised beautiful things and in that ward i was not allowed a phone or internet. they made it sound like the magic medication. "take the injection and we will let you go home for your brothers birthday tomorrow." so i took it, i figured it was only one month long injection right.I took two injections so it should be later than you, and why did you get injection? For psychosis?
Yes.Fully recovered? You had every symptom gone?
vyvanse worked by month five for me. i took st. johns wort, did keto for a few months, and don't have that much fat storage in my body anyway. i actually lost weight on invega, not really gained. i don't know if any of that helps but.How long off injections did you notice vyvanse working? Sorry if you already said.
If you enjoyed bo6 i think you will like bo7. I'm having fun with it.
That one who i saw already this summer and always handle me nonsense medication, wanted to give him another chanche but he is always handling antipsychotic to me..What psychiatrist did you end up seeing? Who prescribed you the antipsychotic
being able to cry is actually a very good sign. for the first couple of months i couldn't do it at all.Today is 8 months of my last injection, I am feeling more hopeless as months pass by, making this seem permanent . Nothing has changed much from last month , I will try to make a monthly update for myself to spot any progress. I am getting more suicidal as recovery seems not possible with months passing. I sleep a lot lately because whenever I am awake I feel so miserable thinking about this being permanent damage and no one around caring makes it worse. I never lost my ability to cry idk if its a good thing or not , so I have been crying a lot thinking that death might be my only option left. May Allah recover me soon so I dont have to die.
But its already 8 months with no recovery, at this point I have lost all my hopes at recovery. Did you miss periods when you were going through this?being able to cry is actually a very good sign. for the first couple of months i couldn't do it at all.
i don't have periods. eight months, but how many injections total did you have. But its already 8 months with no recovery, at this point I have lost all my hopes at recovery. Did you miss periods when you were going through this?
i think age may be an important factor, i'm not too sure. i was 19 when i got my one injection of invega. i was 58kg (127lbs) at my worst during recovery. like i mentioned before, i never really gained any weight at all. i think it stores in your fat cells too iirc.I got 150mg and then a week later 100mg of invega sustenna. This is what I knew . Until recently I found , 150mg invega sustenna is same as 234mg and 100mg is same as 156mg paliperidone palmitate. This also made things so much more fucked up for me.
When did your periods return?
when was your last dose and how many doses did you take?I gained 30 pounds since I was in the hospital and I lost 5 pounds apparently but nothing noticeable, I’m not exercising outside of my job and walking but I didn’t need to exercise to be at the weight I was before… and since I’m on vyvanse you would think I would lose weight easily due to the loss of appetite but no. Ever since invega though I rarely feel hungry if ever, before I would become ravenously hungry when off my medication. My a1c levels have also been steadily rising over the past few months which concerns me
