Forum backgrounds have mysteriously disappeared.

Suddenly when I click on any forum, the customary picture background doesn't show. The screen tells me 'content not viewable on your region'.

WTF. I'm in the UK and this has never happened before.

Yeah I've been getting that.

apologies. i am traveling and have been online much less frequently than usual.

i did some reading on this and i believe the issue is that the banner content is hosted in the u.s. and it's falling foul of new ofcom regulations as a result of the online safety act.

i'm not sure the issue will be resolved for those in the uk soon, if at all.

Also their restrictions don't even work against any 15-yr-old who is even halfway internet savvy.
