Kid Rock gets 'urgent request' from Special Olympics after using slur to describe his Halloween costume

I'm sure the man of class Kid Rock will respond with a thoughtful, deep, heart-rendering admittance of his hurtful words and apologize to those it will effect. /s
 
I'm old enough to remember as a kid that it was commonly used by some as a sort of general purpose insult.

We both know KR isn't going to respond as like it or not, there are adults who one assumes didn't grow out of using it. Who want to carry on using it. Who might buy his work to 'show support' because he used it.

I don't know if it's still the case but I can remember talking to an A&R manager decades ago who repeated that classic idiom CC when a band got bad reviews 'don't read the copy, weigh it'. In other words, there is no such thing as bad publicity.
 
Anyone who has worked or, has had/ a family member with cognitive disabilities knows that "retard" is a pejorative word

More importantly, they know that the people and groups, fighting about those words are syphoning funding away from their loved-ones health-care, towards their ngos, that want that money to advocate for correct speech.

Also, governments enjoy the disparity; whilst playing both sides to divert taxes towards their own pockets, whilst groups fight over, political correctness, rather than getting tax money funded towards where it needs to be - avoiding accountability, while syphoning the most cost, off all.

As someone who would be considered "retarded" (ADHD & autism) by Kid Rock and those like him, I don't care about this.
He is an irrelevant loser and the joke was so ridiculous that it is sort of funny - but maybe I am alone in finding the weird far-right antimask/antivaxx people funny as a coping mechanism for handling their unintentionally homicidal idiocy.
It is nothing compared to what is considered acceptable nowadays in mainstream American society & political discourse (starving people to death in America and abroad, transphobia, homophobia, taking away womens' rights, supporting Gestapo agents that show up at people's schools/workplaces/homes/etc. and grab them off the streets into unmarked vans, supporting genocide in Gaza, mass enslavement of prisoners as a cheap labour loophole to continue slavery, open public killing of black men with little to no repercussions, etc.)

This is all a distraction from the real issues.
Fuck ICE, Free Palestine, RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES.

I swear i need a shower and a hep C shot just looking at his picture. He is such a sack of shit hypocrite he thnks heroin should be legal yet he supports trump bombing boats. This is classic rich white people mentality. Like back in the 80's stock brokers would be there snorting coke while supporting Regan and his war on drugs policy.
