Did you ever get any of the typed in games to work, and if so where they even worth all the effort?

(I get the feeling that a few pages of code was never going to provide anything much more than the most basic of games.)

Yeah, got a few to work. Uniformly shite 😃

Always waaay more faff than it was worth. Weirdly, I always kinda enjoyed the process though. Certainly more enjoyable than the outcome =D

Good going!

As far as i can remember the only bits of code I got to work at home were those along the lines of

10 print "Mary is a Dork!"
20 go to 10

Where Mary is my younger sister, and well I'm sure you know what those 2 lines of code would do.

I think everyone at home was unduly impressed by that IIRC. :ROFLMAO:

@Bleaney @Shambles @ageingpartyfiend @LoginNotSecure @Perkins : Reborn (I smirked in the most Mr Burns way when you came to mind to watch this)

Was on again last night on Sky Arts, I have seen this 3 times now & each time it blows my mind, I fell into the camp of "Leftwing / Eco accelerationism" but as I sit here today a few years later & look around me I say fuck it I am 100% in the camp of "Unconditional accelerationism" which is where the World is going imho & we cannot stop the what will be (sadly)

I know true crime is a bit overdone but I have been watching this young Irish fella for a couple of years now and his stories are not only well researched, presented and fascinating (he covers homocide on what must be 99+ out of every 100 videos he puts out, the most bizarre and heinous from all over the globe) but, thanks to the amazing presenter (well, professional story teller IMO) his charm has most invested within a story within 3 minutes and he is fucking hilarious, without ever showing even a iota of disrespect to the victims who's stories these are as much as anyone's. I only include it as this weeks offering is particularly crazy (and one quip had my stoned ass laughing like donkey for about 3 minutes).

YouTube Channel That Chapter. He has two million, two hundred and ten thousand subscribers.

I posted it in another YouTube thread but wasn’t sure if it was the right one. I don’t often watch YouTubers’ commentary on things but a friend sent this in one of our group chats and I thought maybe some of you would find this interesting.

I could definitely understand benzedrine, and could sort of understand it at a stretch, if it was the decongestant stimulant pseudo-ephedrine. I wasn't really congested when I took it, or if I was it was only as a result of sniffing other stims, IIRC.

But it did seem to clear my sinuses, and it worked pretty decently as a stimulant too I thought, and it was better than I had been led to expect. Maybe pseudo works great for some people.

Subsequent doses haven't hit me as well though.

I think it's another of those things that you have to take once in a blue moon to get anything resembling good, useful, or decent effects.

The video looks like shoddy and lazy reporting, based on the title and description though. By the sounds of it, people aren't becoming physically or mentally addicted, they're merely attempting to avoid 're-bound congestion' and develop a "dependence" on the spray as a result.

It was probably a slow news day.
