I feel like they can be quit similar, but usually more subtle the Nutmeg. I also haven't ever took Nutmeg without deliriants, opioids, benzos, etc... I'm curious what you all think about the comparisons?!

been microdosing nutmeg this holiday season. i think it's been helping. i often wondered if I took a small dab of it what it would do. saw a thing on tv once they said it was dangerous to smoke it.

What dose are you taking exactly if you do not mind me asking?

I wouldn't smoke it no, but you can expect to feel slightly stoned, and possibly psychedelic like. It feels like being on alcohol, and weed for some, but I heard its only active in forty percent of people. It can be either sedating, and/or mildly stimulating as well. Chocolate potentiates it for me it seems like a little bit too.

To me, nutmeg felt like a more psychedelic pot. I was stoned to the bone, but saw mild visuals if I looked into dark corners. Mild, but real visuals. On a lot of pot, the "visuals" are more like "illusions".

I can tell you nutmeg definitely works for some people. I took 1/2 to 1 (freshly grounded) kernels for years, periodically. It gave me an upliftingly euphoric amphetamine like effect (the myristicin gets converted into something similar to amphetamine). I didn't have to take anything else for a long time - just nutmeg and coffee was enough.

Nowadays I still take it, but in much smaller amounts to where it doesn't get me stoned or speedy the same way. I mostly just use it therapeutically and for its many health benefits. I do snort it sometimes. I know it's probably bad and yada yada, but it sure as hell works. If I need a quick energizing buzz for a workout e.g., then intranasally hits fast and with precise intensity. Much shorter duration, but the instant come-up makes it a convenient tool in my toolbox. Love nutmeg, but use it moderately. ❤️ Super-high doses of 2-3 or more nuts gets you high af, but the side-effects are pretty bad at that amount. Maybe if you could extract the myristicin... There's also nutmeg oil, which is quite nice. Kinda subtle though, but I only used it moderately.

The last time I did it using store bought ground up nuts it felt like poison. I had pain in my heart.

How much did you take? I wouldn't recommend more than 2 nutmegs. That's the maximum that I would recommend to anyone, but 1 is likely a better amount for most. It does start to get trippy at 2+, but the dehydration, nausea and feelings of doom can become overwhelming and almost unmanageable.

Hope it doesn't sound rude, but it sounds like you probably took too much. Stay safe and hydrated! (if you're gonna try it again)

I don't remember, probably about a teaspoon.

No.
If you don't like poison then stay away from drugs. Or stick to week, mushrooms etc. Srs, the vast majority of drugs are almost inevitably detrimental to your health.

You're talking to someone who made a thread about strychnine and subsequently tried it and made posts in that thread while I was on it.

And in low doses it doesn't feel toxic and no one has presented evidence that low doses are toxic.

Dnrd sry I'm about to slay some ice cream 😋 Drugs makes me carefree

Not necessarily.
That's why I said almost. If you have good self control and go at it intelligently then they can be good for you. Just consider the weight-loss from stimulants for example. Just gotta keep it at reasonable doses and timing + eat well and sleep etc.

It's legal, or no, and what are the effects of Strychnine?
