Pharmacology MDMA + Pyros (MDPIHP) .... is there any possible safe combination, or is that a guaranteed recipe for SS & disaster?

To my brief knowledge, MDPHIP is incredibly potent at the dopamine transporter, but is relatively much less potent at the SERT serotonin transporter and norepinepherine transporter. But that added SERT activity worries me, and this shit is incredibly potent stimulant in general which worries me for my heart and mind if combined with MDMA. It is also notoriously psychotogenic in high or frequent doses, which I'm going to avoid... this stuff basically feels like a blend between crack, meth, and ritalin. It has the rush of crack, the legs and intensity of meth, and also is vaugely reminiscent of ritalin for some reason. Tastes like it. Also feels quite toxic and dangerous with heavy or long term use, which again, I'm going to avoid.

I'm not stupid, it will be low dose MDMA. I only have 87mg, and that's why I'm doing this to begin with, because that's not enough for a full roll and will be disappointing. Are lower doses less prone to multi-drug toxic SS syndrome?

Is this as stupid of an idea as I think it is?

How dangerous is cocaine + MDMA? I know some people get into that...

I have plenty of nifoxipam and quetiapine/risperidone on hand if I get too high, but no propranolol or anything for blood pressure.

Also, I would generally advise people to avoid this MDPHIP drug. It's evil. Incredibly fiendish. The high is almost as good as meth, slightly less body euphoria, but even MORE of a rush when smoked-- crack like. The euphoria falls off after about 4 hours but you continue to feel tweaked for a long time afterwards which kinda sucks, but in low doses this stim is extremely functional (if you can control yourself).

edit: Hmm, yeah I guess I'm wrong. This German paper claims MDPHIP has the ability to COMPLETELY inhibit SERT, although it is still relatively much weaker at it than DAT.

The concentration that resulted in 50% of maximal inhibition (IC50) was also determined and is a measure of potency. MDPiHP showed the strongest inhibition of DAT (IC50 = 1.03 nM) followed by NET (IC50 = 27 nM). The inhibition of SERT was significantly weaker (IC50 = 776 nM). Cocaine is used as a control substance..."

Can anyone maybe enlighten me how potent of a SERT this drug is with that IC50 = 776? The DAT IC50 is only 1.03...

Is that anything like affinity numbers?

MDMA and cocaine typically aren't a good combination, coke seems to kill the roll and I suspect there may be competition at some receptor or enzyme

Use an alpha-2 adrenergic agonist like clonidine, guanfacine or agmatine which is OTC. Alpha-2A agonism essentially mitigates adrenaline.

Be careful with agmatine since it has its own psychoactive effects.

As for SS; judging by your reaction to Gotu kola (from the other thread) your baseline level of serotonin is already fairly high which is what you might expect for someone with an under-functioning metabolic system/underactive thyroid. Just something to be aware of since it's unlikely that someone else will consider this when pondering how relevant SS is to your situation.

Dopaminergic and anti-cortisol drugs are the #1 self-medication choices for people with high baseline serotonin and underactive thyroid (usually unacknowledged). That covers all the most popular drugs associated with habitual use.

I suffer from both high blood pressure naturally, and Attention Deficit Disorder, but for the latter I am unmedicated because of my history of addiction, doctors won't prescribe me controlled stims. And my blood pressure is currently being untreated since I ran out of propranolol a few months ago. I may ask a doc for this drug.

Interesting hypothesis... my metabolic system is low and a bit off from years of alcoholism, poor diet, and relatively sedentary lifestyle (I jog and stay active, but not consistently, and I spend a lot of time sitting on my ass driving cars and typing on computers. I'm not generally unhealthy, I am not overweight, just out of shape and soft, but I am not nearly as healthy as I could be. Hypothyroidism and thyroid tumors run in the women in my fam, both my sister and mom have major thyroid issues and are medicated for it, but I do not to my knowledge. Doctors suspected I might when I was younger, because I naturally sweat A LOT, almost but not quite clinical hyperhydrosis...

Well in any case the hospital is just a mile away, I could probably walk/jog there when I start noticing it and make it there it well before SS takes over at a dangerous level. At least if I have a seizure I'll be next to a road and someone will see it. I have experienced it before actually, a weird type of SS and extreme agitation caused by (R) nicotine, kratom alkaloids, ashwagandha, and a few other drugs. Long story, awful experience. Put me in the hospital twice, actually. I went home the first time, took a gram of kratom like an idiot because I was in withdrawal, and instantly went back into SS. My brain was so fucked up just a gram of kratom reinduced SS. Had to embarrassingly go right back to the hospital... and this time told them to check me into rehab too.

Oh well, I'm just daydreaming degenerate druggie scenarios.

Sorry this stuff is incredibly stimulating. Most stimmy stim I've ever had. I'm tweaked off 70mg. Thats a big dose. I feel like if I smoke one more hit I will have a hard time moving or speaking correctly. Typing more than I need to. This stuff definitely feels toxic in high doses... feels amazing, but also feels like im going to feel like ass in the future. Also very moreish after the initial rush wears off after 3 hours.

Guanfacine and clonidine (and agmatine) are used for ADHD because they block the effects of adrenaline which is what's responsible for the classic ADHD symptoms. The dopaminergic drugs also block some of adrenaline's effects which is why they're used for ADHD.

It will do so via imidazoline agonism also.

Lol random funny story, one time I was trying to make freebase DMT for the first time, but lazily bought the wrong kind of lime (calcium hydroxied). The tek requires pure, food grade lime. I went to hone depot and bought a huge fucking 100lb bag of industrial grade lime for making concrete, which is also the same kind people use to bury dead bodies.

Anyways I drove over to my dad's house. We had had a nasty violent physical fight a few weeks earlier and had not been speaking with eachother since. I went over to talk it out. I forgot I had that huge bag of lime in my trunk... as well as a small shovel, gloves, tire iron and jacket I also keep back there all the time. It coincidentally looked like a murder kit.

He sees the bag of lime, goes silent for a second and gets a weird look on his face, and then half jokingly but seriously asked if I was going to murder him. I started hysterically laughing because I realized I couldn't explain what I was doing with that bag and what it was doing in my trunk. I couldn't tell him the true reason because I was using it to commit a class 1 fuck me in the ass felony of manufacturing a schedule 1 drug. So I made up some dumb shit like I was going to use it to build a BMX dirt bike jump... which doesnt make any sense... I lived in a studio apartment and didn't have a bike at the time.

I remember groups of my friends and me building bmx dirt bike jumps in the summer at construction sites, after the workers left and weekends.. Piles of dirt, already dug. Hey, it's better than stealing plywood and 2x4's to build skate board launch ramps and half-assed quarter pipes. ( I didn't steal lumber. I just got to enjoy the fruits of more nerve than skill.( pain and injuries).

I say this as someone who LOVED MDPHP and wrote way too many good things about it, It gave me a mini stroke.. actually it is a mystery to even the doctors but it fits more than seizures. Ugh, scary stuff. It also has some activity on receptors that are not DA, NE, SERT (muscarinic or ? not sure) that cause common hallucinations related to Aliens and Death, one time a literal demon flew into me, and caused me to literally dance uncontrollably as if a demon possessed me. I accidenly stumbled into another dimension where people go when they first die, which was earth but modified where these little people were helping the just-died beings hop on a bridge to heaven. As interesting as that was, I recommend just not going there at all unless you wanna literally die.
