So I've had some negative experiences with weed, literally one of my first posts on here, but lately I feel like I mayyy have been pushing it. I don't even take more than 2-3 hits and get real high real fast real hard, not in a good way. I got nauseous last time and had to sit upright and talk myself through it (idk if I got emetoparanoid from last time or if it was real and I avoided puking my guts out LOL) but recently I've been watching cannabis growing videos and just the sight of them makes me feel siiick:dead:

Is there any chance this might diminish over time and my monkey brain will recover from the negative pavlovian association? I really love this plant...my goddd why'd I do that:facepalm:

Note: just realized it may be related to some bad dietary decisions. Do you guys eat before or after smoking?

Some drugs just don't agree with a persons biochemistry or neurochemistry.
For example, I can't take things like Kratom because when I've tried it, it just makes me sick. I tried it three times, all three times I felt sick and nor did I take large or even the recommended dosage. My stomach just cannot handle the stuff.

With weed, it very well could just be that even though you enjoy it your neurochemistry might not agree with it.
Another example being that I like drinking, and I like weed, but I will rarely ever mix drinking and weed at the same time, because I don't like how it makes me feel either mentally OR physically.

It's a possibility but all my experiences with weed have been positive before The Incident, I'm thinking it may be due to the high THC strains that kinda suck tbh

eating before smoking is usually helpful for me, it can reduce anxiety by reducing cortisol

Eating what ? Certain food s especially combination s are recipe s for 'heartburn'.
Stomach acid built up that enter the oesophagus. The older you get worse this seems to affect people. With my diet seldom but with the right wrong combo s.

A vomit reflex is imo normally i would if i was my stomach. Just from observing my body. As i can get a good puke going downing Kratom att. Even getting out of bed or a puff.
Cannabis a anti-emetic contrary to Opiods at a slightly wrong timing. Which definitely promote them in that area.
[the queasiness very manageable, relived when it s gone. Check the food pattern although stress alone can do it. For fact s i can down a bottle of Vodka and feel shitty.
Wishing to vomit. Puking on Booze never made me feel better. Maybe for the best it never happen s. Just gives me a wicked hangover. Cannabis/ Kratom over Alcohol]

Inhaling smoke mostly ok, deep in the lung at exhaling i ll feel something wrong.
Gag some up, wasted reflex brought on and after many times sneeze.
Indicating the Nervus Vagus is involved !

...just the sight of them makes me feel siiick

Is there really a need to go any further? Did this Oct. 9 newbie simply care to search the existing database?... Which is just a blatant case of wall-to-wall shame as if the $¢ientology $e¢t assigned one of its propaganda farms to BL on a permanent basis anyway. Many decades ago i realized alcohol wasn't my thing so i quickly adapted as a reasonable young man on his way to adulthood and never put myself in a miserable situation because of it ever again. This was the end, i didn't look back and have zero regrets despite the fact that it is alcohol which is the hard-drug, actually addictive with severe elements of comorbidity - but somehow i was immune! Not to mention Halloween was 3 weeks ago, so that's kind of late, really, and yet it lasts all year long, wall-to-wall.

Good day, have "fun"... :devils:
