Gabapentinoids Is it just me or is the Phenibut crash absolutely terrible?

I recently took phenibut and am noticing it just isn’t worth the come down. I have felt like death for days trying to keep this shit down

Keeping it down is where it is all about this substance. The whole experience,
seems to evolve round a general nausea, almost as as bad as Poppy Pod s.
And like them not really dose depended, only the length and severity.

No positive effect s to remark, did feel disappointing.
After reading lots of glowing report s. And i wonder personal chemistry.
I loved GHB also GABA-b with GHB activation, some Oxytocin release.
Which the WD s are relieved by Phenibut for some.

Not for me as drug or medication. Glad i never used it to get of GHB.

Never had the "crash" effects of phenibut hcl. Couldn't speak as to other forms of it.
I only used it @1.5g - skip three days - rinse repeat. For years.
Never had any issues that I can recall. As a matter of fact I found a few yrs old tub of phenibut hcl and dropped a g earlier. Hell it is stored well so wth. Feelin it.
How much did you take and was there any dinking alcohol or ingesting of other substances after taking the phenibut? I mean ya can count the hours like taking sometime 4-20hrs after dosing phenibut it's a looooong lasting substance IME.

It didn’t matter if I took 50mg the third day or 3G the first day I got sick as a dog exactly 12-15 hours after ANY dose I tried. The throwing up was severe and also Phenibut made my urine dry up and it was very scary for me not to be able to take a piss. No matter how much water I drank my kidneys would hold on to all of it and my bladder shriveled up! Fuck this shit flushed all of it

I can't speak for phenibut but I was prescribed baclofen for a short time and that made me feel quite unwell. Nausea was a prominent effect. I only mention this because in bulk, baclofen costs $150-$350/Kg so possibly someone has figured out it's cheaper to misrepresent baclofen as phenibut?

I loathe anyone who misrepresents their products as it robs the end user with the right to informed consent.

It's also possible that for whatever reasons, your body is simply sensitive to the side-effects of phenibut, but I've met enough wholesalers to know that their attitude goes from total disinterest in the end users right to those who get a perverse sense of power KNOWING that their product is harming end users.

Yes that's why I stopped taking it. I took it like 15 times or so and just lost interest all drugs have pretty terrible comedowns. I love opiates and benzos for example but I try not to do them too much because they're so damn addictive and the comedown is terrible.

I will do opiates until they're gone eveytime. There's no saving some for the next day. Even if the increased high is minimal I'll keep snorting lines until it's 6am or later. Then I'll finally force myself to sleep. It's either that or I'm snorting till I nod/puke. I really can't help myself.

Benzos for me are a little easier to control, but it's still hard for me not to do them every night if I have them. They work so well for sleep, and they make all my problems fade away to meaningless abyss. But the next few days I can't sleep for shit. My anxiety is worse than ever afterwards. If I do them for extended periods of time, the withdrawal is so bad it's almost killed me before.. but this was combined with fent WD and was a nightmare where I fully hallucinated and didn't sleep for nearly 2 weeks.

But yea all this to say, don't do drugs everyday. The comedown is always gonna suck, but the longer you do it daily the longer you prolong the comedown and the worse it gets. You're just avoiding the inevitable when using daily. Stay away from the drugs you like the most

Read the side-effects of baclofen. I suspect baclofen will also have a longer half-life than phenibut. I know all the side-effects of baclofen built up over several days and that was a prescribed dose.

Why is it not more helpful for maintaining people who are alcohol or benzo dependent? I have always wondered this.

I don't think it's particularly useful in either role.

For alcohol at least, a pregabalin taper over 10-14 days is an underused protocol that is at least safer than the alternatives.

Yes - benzodiazepines reduce physical symptoms but don't stop the cravings. Pregabalin deals with the cravings. But you really do have to start quite high but get down to nothing in 10-14 days. Any more and all you have done is replaced one dependence for another.
