Nah never sold shrooms.. I keep me hands and my concience clean. Why you ask I wonder?? Where I live we can buy truffles. They are quite potent too.

I did indeed yeah...motorhead leeds queens hall 1981...my first gig, and what an introduction to live music aahhhh...was a bit overwhelming (was young! and this was pre decibel limits....and they were the loudest band in the world!) but still loved it and was one of those days that on reflection you can pinpoint something shifted in you...gamechanger probably

I thought this was a great cover of Bowie's classic track. Can't really go wrong with such great source material, but the heavy treatment Lemmy gave it, worked great.

Never fails to perk me up a bit.

That kind of rhythm guitar style and overall wall of sound is just euphoric. Lemmy's gruff voice works so well too.



Just read this comment under the video "I'm not gonna lie: I am tearing-up right now. Lemmy left this world on 12/28/2015; David Bowie followed him out the door less than 2 weeks later, on 01/10/2016. 2 legends. Both resting in peace."

The previous generations were just built different. They were just made of stronger stuff, it seems to me. Complete legends both, obviously.

And one of the other many amazing things about Lemmy was his genuine down to earth quality, never letting any of his fame and success go to his head. He was a superstar and an ordinary guy at the same time. Full of common sense and level headedness and no ego or self importance. A true gentleman too. Despite his rough exterior.

Oh. My ex loved this version partly because 'I am insane and you are the same'. I lost her in late 2019, but she was the Queen of Mischief. Totally worth those few years.

Yeah, fantastic lyrics. So fitting! The best lyrics of the track I'd say.
 
Yeah. She would've been 28 by now! Seems like ages. Some people were very much against it all.

I remember there was a Korean girl recruiting for a cult. The cult girl gave me a flyer, but my girlfriend thought she was chatting me up, and flattened her. Glasgow girls.

We had to get out of the area pretty quickly!
