Combining coffee with stimulants? (methylphenidate) Therapeutic use

Prescribed by my GP.

I've read reports that when taken with caffeine the effects are awful.

I took some with my coffee one morning and felt horrid. Elevated heart rate, panic, jittery, anxious etc.

Today I had my coffee at 9 am, then dosed ritalin at 1 pm, 3 pm and 5 pm at 10 mg per.

Felt fairly okay and avoided the jittery negative effect I noticed when dosed simultaneously, maybe a little stress sensation around the chest area, but not as bad as simultaneous dosing.

Any other experiences/advice, should coffee be avoided entirely when taking stimulants, as it's half life is 7 or so hours I believe?

Or are side effects minimal provided there's a sufficient window between taking the two?

Never noticed caffeine making a difference with other stims but I have big tolly to caffeine. Also take L-Theanine in the AM most days.

Methylphenidate + DXM (low dose) = boundless energy, euphoria and tachycardia

Just my own experiences. I think adding NMDA antagonists to stims really helps to make them shine.

DXM in cough syrup or how do you dose it?

Everyone's tolerance is different, but caffeine definitely amplifies the stimulant side effects. You might try decaf or tea instead if you still want something warm.

BupropiDex pills, they can be bought off eBay. Cheaper than Robocough. Syrup sucks because of all the fillers causing diarrhea.

Are you keeping an eye on your heart rate while on a stimulant like Methylphenidate? If you've got a smart watch then this can easily be done.
