Weed has gotten several times stronger over the past 50 years. What are your thoughts?

Yeh when I was about 22 I got thrown out of a night club cos I was wrecked ,the cops arrived and then the bouncer came out with my jacket and the cops asked if it was mine and I said yeh ,it had a kinder egg in the pocket full of goodies but because I was so fucked I got off with a fine cos they new they couldn't prove it was my jacket .Still spent 13 hours in the cells .had to wait till the same cops came back on duty

Instead I am driving around with an engaged couple they get pulled over -- damn driver runs out of the car back towards the cop (Well that's a real bad start). Cop comes back tosses the car -- they find an old pipe in his CD case or some shit. Now mind you I am not driving this is not in my pocket ---- Both those pricks straight gave me the Judas finger when the cop asked whose pipe it was. I did not say a word and got a lawyer and somehow that charge still landed on me!

Basically the "states" argument was me not pointing back or reacting when they pointed at me was a confession --- 12k in lawyer fees later I am pleading guilty to possession of a pipe that HONESTLY WAS NOT MINE (12k and Perjur your way to guilty is what he came up with! *Shakes fist*).... that or weekend in jail and at the time that would have been a death sentence by seizures and w/ds. (You know death by torture malnutrition and dehydration)....... WILL ALWAYS BURN MY BALLS

It feels way less potent than it used to. Comparing it to black runtz, icc runtz, red runtz it’s so much less potent so stored in glass seems to do something where it loses stronger effects

From now on i dont think I’ll save it and just get rid of it by date, due to my experience

Harvest time is one of the things I factor in key when I hit the dispo -- Brand - THC % or strain - Harvest date is my priorities in order.

I had a buddy that worked at a pot farm and closest I have seen to dispo grade -- it may have been dispo grade when freshly harvested but usually what I was buying was 6 months old and there is just a notable quality drop in that timeframe. Good guy but just about lost him as a friend when I kept with dispos.

Second story that blueberry white rhino I mentioned earlier -- well I found about 1/2 oz of it about 3 years later in the garage and it was just slightly better than brick at that point.

hypothetically as a minor I was detained until a guardian could arrive as they could not legally search me. They left me alone in that room and I was so positive it was cammed and this was checkmate but I turned the chair so I was facing where I presumes a camera would be and ditched about an 8th behind some cops desk. --- Sure as shit soon as a guardian arrives I am searched -- they start leaning on "The vehicle smelled like pot" territory. "Under arrest or free to go?" --- "Well we are still deciding we could easily give you "use" --- "I did not use anything am I free to leave". Sure...

Phone was ringing off the hook in the next hour or two --- I presume it was not actually the police as nothing ever happened and they have changed they location since than lol.

In the cells if you've been detained on a drug charge they take your clothes and give you what I can only describe as a potato sack with holes for your arms.its to humiliate you in the hope that you might see the light and fly straight .

the dispensaries here in the states are disappointing... it's like the old "thousand channels and nothing to watch" problem, dispensaries are the cable television of weed.

you can find most anything in seed form if you look hard enough, and make your own aged/ cured cobs and aged/ heated/ cured hashish... this is the way for a true connoisseur.

you can find seeds of lebanese and moroccan strains, afghani, pakistani, syrian and even iranian hashplants.. classic commercial hashplants like g13 hashplant, the chemdogs/ diesels, bubba kush...

as well as hazes/ haze hybrids like a5 and c5 hazes and other sativas galore ... even those landrace sativas... true 100% tropical varieties that are impossible to get in a dispensary... african, south and central american sativas, etc...

[...the one thing that seems to elude seed- seekers would be the classic soaring, magical and legendary thai stick varieties from the 70s... ironic, considering thailand has decriminalized cannabis and has open markets and dispensaries... only ...

they have been taken over by the modern commercial marijuana.

.. and also the cbd varieties (*edit* i had heard they were cbd varieties, but that might be a myth) that were passed around by the government... well, that and the intense and extreme anti- cannabis era where they tried to eradicate even the tribal heirlooms seem to have tragically been wiped, out and those poor ppl severely affected... what a terrible time]

anyway, if you can grow your own... the sky is pretty much the limit.

ace is definitely the shit, they do have a lot of that and a lot of it is selected/ worked hybrids for finishing outside in not- so- tropical climates... and by "hybrid" in that way i don't mean in the commercial sense where hybrid typically means indica x sativa but they even do pure sativa hybrids... ie a hybrid between two pure sativas (like bangi haze x ethiopian that i'm growing right now)...

but there are other companies like the real seed company that have many different unworked pure landrace sativas for those with pioneer spirits and a lot of space and time and dedication.

I wish the dispensaries here sold some mid weed for cheap. The kind that has 0 - 5% THC. Sometimes I just want to smoke or vape some weed without getting too high in the process. I enjoy the act of smoking, rolling, packing, etc. Instead of focusing on ever-increasing potency with the THC I wish some growers would prioritize other qualities in their plants. Next year I'll grow a few outdoors myself with the hope that it will be less potent, then I have access to some, let's call it, "utility weed". Stuff I can roll into 0.2g joints and smoke like cigarettes without feeling like the top of my skull is missing.

Yeah, overall I wish there was more choice. I'm glad there's potent weed out there, but it sucks that it's pretty much all you can get these days.

Smoking less saves time and I would rather have more time, so smoking thc eod ,say ten inhales, and cbd on the days I don’t smoke thc, works best for me

This is why I prefer higher thc. If I want to reduce thc levels i just smoke five inhales or three instead

As far as cbd i like this pre resistance exercise and prefer a hybrid stateva. On resistance exercise, on thc days 3-5 inhales before. If still wanting more say seven more later that evening with some walking outside , or going to gym if weather does permit or would rather be at gym with lights

You jest, but yeah, seriously. I have to smoke such minute amounts with the potency of cannabis these days that it's practically not workable anymore. Sure I hear people say, just smoke less out of a 1-hitter or something like that, but it's just not the same. I genuinely long for the shwag of old, while simultaneously being happy about having access to good weed also. Weird. I don't always want to get ripped, twisted, zooted, faded, etc. you name it. Could not care less about the bag appeal of the bud, but people today seem to smoke with their eyes and noses primarily (looking for that "loud"). As a result, the stuff coming out of today's commercial grow ops is pretty much indistinguishable from each other, most stuff is a 7 - 9 week flower type bud with the shortest possible cure before sending out off to the stores. We live in a country where cannabis is legal, so it is such a shame that people are only optimizing their grow ops for throughput and final weight to stay viable, instead of bringing some unique and different products to market. It sucks.
