Have iV’d cocaine half a dozen times. What is a normal dose .10-.25g when I do .10 - .45 it’s as if a train runs through ears ring and even at top end makes me have to sit down for few minutes. Does this sound par 4 the course ? I’m hyper vigilant as I have gotten older w what goes in and how I do what I do w some intent and harm reduction as well as binge moderation mindfulness. Through my 20’s after serving in us navy for some years I unknowingly became dependent upon morphine. That was a slap in. The face life altering and a jelly of the month club gift I was given after my discharge w zero continuing care not even a paragraph on a page that was slipped to me last second as I was leaving Pearl Harbor, Hi saying hey you have been given these pain injections 3x day for the last 9 months after an injury while on duty by the doc onboard the ship I was attached to. I did ask after the injury if I was going to be sent to PT to heal up and prevent future injury and was told the best thing was to keep me working and take these pain shots 3x day in his office. He would give me other shots in my spine randomly must have been steroids of some kind. I did ask if there was any down side to the pain shots and he assured me they were affective and safe and no long term damage to my organs etc etc. I didn’t know withdraw or addiction dependence yet but boy did I learn. Dope sick by day 3-4 bad after discharge and trying to start a new job ….. this little filipino guy I guess recognized my symptoms and after work tha day he told me follow him to his house that he had some pills that would probably help. Hydrocodone 10mg /100mg blue and pink huge pills. Felt better 30 minutes into taking. Come to find out this guy has 55 gallon trash bags full of these pills like a dozen or so bags that just got delivered couple days prior from his cousins who robbed cvs and walgreen trucks in the NYC area or in that area of country. I moved to Clearwater, FL after Hawaii … within a few months or so I was taking 30-50 of these 10/100 every 24 hours. I was told I have a hell of a metabolism. I felt incredible and even remember thinking to Myself why didn’t a single doctor ever think to prescribe this medication… it literally fixed everything and I thrived until the 2.5 year mark of this madness. I ended up in the ER in worse pain ever. I hadn’t taken a shit in a month or 5-6 weeks at that point. Couldn’t stop taking opiates that turned into IV opana then later H was in my circle the pills had become thing of the past. I was grateful to have gotten clean finally just as fentanyl started to kill others by the droves. Cocaine never was a big deal take to leave it. Binge for a short run then don’t touch it for years at a time. I am trying to figure out how to know if what I have is good quality or not use whatever tools I can to safely navigate this madness the best I can. I am 45 now. I’ve had much success in mid 20’s to 35 after owning some organic grocery stores tha I started from nothing worked hard made enough to not work anymore. Haven’t worked in 4-5 years now after selling the business. Coke is expensive though no doubt. Thanks for letting me rant.
