I prefer the demos/mixtape Time 4 Plan B that predates that album. The album versions are pale, over-produced imitations imo… although the album is still decent, naturally.



I also highly rate the Paint it Blacker mixtape…

I love good Hindu Trap music, this is a Perfect example of East meeting West.
Run that through a good subwoofer, it'll put a smile on your face I know that much.

I played that track to the Baba at the temple, he had no idea about Trap music, he had spent 80% of his Life in a Temple before he came over to the UK & so many things I show him come as a shock to him as his a Monk, all the other Indian people at The Temple have their "Culture" they have to stick too & "keep face" etc, me being "white" etc am free from these social constraints so I can "get away" with things everyone else cannot, turning a Monk onto Trap music is one example. When the bass dropped the look on his face was classic, he had never heard anything like it in his life.

Over six years since we lost David Berman. I can still remember getting the message from a friend. He'd released a record earlier in the year - after coming out of retirement - that shifted from triumphant comeback to suicide note.

I had another surprise loss later in the year. 2019 was rough. Anyway.

 
Pre-dadrock era Manics. Couldn't even listen to this stuff for twenty years because of heavy memories, but can now. US mix, which is both superior and inferior in its way.
